YouTube Description
as posted by the channelRon DeSantis is trying to get tough against Donald Trump finally, and now he's mad that other groups aren't doing the same. Specifically, DeSantis lashed out against Fox News recently, wondering out loud if the network was afraid to criticize Trump because they are afraid of being attacked. The network has always had plenty of pro-Trump hosts, but the real reason DeSantis is mad is because the network has soured on him. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Ron DeSantis is so bad at campaigning that he is now trying to paint Donald Trump as some sort of pro-choice Republican, like the audacity right, of Donald Trump. Ron DeSantis wants us to think of thinking that women should have control over their own reproductive health freedom, right? Because Ron DeSantis is a hardliner and no, he is a pro-life Republican. And he said recently that Donald Trump is not, that. Donald Trump does not want to go as far with the abortion bans as other Republicans like Ron DeSantis in Florida have done. And then Ron DeSantis got mad. Not only is he mad that Donald Trump doesn't want women to have no control over their bodies, but he's also mad that Fox News isn't calling Donald Trump out for this. So here's what DeSantis said recently. We gotta hold him accountable. Like, you know, this idea that like all these conservative radio guys and Fox News people like, you know, they will never like criticize because they're so concerned that someone may yell at them.
Look, anyone running for office answers to you. You have every right to hold these people accountable and you should hold them accountable when he is taking those positions that are not consistent with the voters or the values here in northwest Iowa. Yeah, because the, the values in northwest Iowa, one of the whitest states in the country, yeah, that should be what everybody else has to live under, right? This tiny sliver of a fraction of a percent of a fraction of a percent of the population, those values should be imposed on the rest of us, right? What a dumb thing to say. I'm sorry, but God, these people me off some days and this just happens to be one of those days. Now, here's the thing. Ron DeSantis is not mad at Fox News for not calling Donald Trump out. What Ron DeSantis is mad about is that Fox News spent an entire year hyping him over Donald Trump.
I, they were doing one-on-one softball interviews, one of them literally on a baseball field where they were, I mean, literally throwing softballs to him during an interview. I mean, it doesn't get any more metaphorical than that. And DeSantis still struck out, by the way, but they were also kind of hard on Donald Trump. But now that it's pretty obvious that Trump's got the nomination on lockdown, and DeSantis has, you know, faded into obscurity, DeSantis is mad that he's not getting the good coverage on Fox News that he was a year ago. And Donald Trump is not getting as attacked by the network as he had been. But also what's important to point out is that the anti-abortion stuff is a losing issue for Republicans. Even Republican voters don't like how extreme their party is on it.
So for DeSantis to be trying to campaign on being very strong anti-abortion, like that's also a losing issue. So you're attacking the few allies that you have left at Fox News and you're campaigning on an issue that cost Republicans a huge majority in the 2022 midterms. You could not, if you tried be any worse at running a national campaign. That is how horrible Ron DeSantis really is just the dumbest of the dumb and can't run a campaign to save his life.
