YouTube Description
as posted by the channelRepublican state lawmaker Nick Wilson in Kentucky has sponsored legislation that remove sex with a first cousin from the list of felonies in the state that punish incest. The legislation would also reclassify incest in general as a lesser crime. Kentucky has one of the worst economies and THE worst health in the country, and their lawmakers are more concerned about being able to get busy with their attractive cousins than actually solving real problems, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

A Republican lawmaker in the state of Kentucky has sponsored legislation that would no longer make it illegal for anyone in the state of Kentucky to have sex with their first cousin. It's a Republican lawmaker by the name of Nick Wilson, who at one point actually won a season of survivor on CBS. And he used that, you know, minor claim to fame, to basically run unopposed for a house seat in Kentucky in 2022. And he has decided that the best use of his power in the state of Kentucky State House is to say, Hey, wouldn't it be awesome if we could all just have sex with our cousins, you know, without having to go to jail for it, right? Am I right? So he is put forward legislation. Let read you this, it would strike first cousin from the list of familial relationships defined as unlawful incest in the state.
The amendment would also reduce the designation of incest by contact to a Class D felony for some cases, unless it is committed with a person who is less than 12 years of age, in which case it's a class C felony. So not only does Representative Wilson want you to be able to have sex with your cousin, but he also says, well, if you have other incest, we're gonna reduce, you know, the level of a crime that that is unless they're underage, you know, under 12. So you could have sex with a 13-year-old family member, and that's not gonna be as bad as if you have sex with a 12-year-old. Um, now if you ask me that, uh, you probably like 18, would've been a good age, um, or just not sponsoring the legislation at all. You look at Kentucky folks. Kentucky has one of the worst poverty rates in the country.
They have the worst health in the country, highest rates of cancer in the country. The economy is in shambles. The unemployment rate is well above the national average. Kentucky has so many problems, and I promise you none of those is that we can't our cousins, right? That's not, that's not a thing that should not be at the top of your list of priorities. You should be thinking, okay, how do we get the economy working? How do we get healthcare for our people who are dying at an alarming rate from cancer, from all the pollution that we have in the state? How do we clean up the pollution? Nope. Mr. Wilson says, I wanna have sex with her, but I don't want to go to jail. Now, he didn't actually say that. I'm kidding. But that's what this bill does. I mean, I, I, I guess you gotta know your constituents. You gotta know what they want. Clearly they don't wanna live healthier lives. Clearly. They don't want to go to work, they just want to sit around all day and dittle their cousins. That's what I guess is happening in Kentucky, because that's what they're
Addressing in the State House. This, this is, this is beyond bonkers. Like, I can't even address this in a serious way because this is a deeply unserious person pushing unserious legislation in a state that has very serious problems, but that's what they're doing. So if you've ever been at the family reunion and said, wow, my cousin's looking real hot, maybe you should track her on up to Kentucky, because they're trying to make that totally legal.
