YouTube Description
as posted by the channelFox News host Laura Ingraham is apparently just as tired of the Republican primary as the rest of us, and she used a portion of her show this week to directly address Ron DeSantis after his second place finish in Iowa. Ingraham didn't mince words when she told DeSantis that it was time for him to drop out of the race and endorse Donald Trump. DeSantis, in spite of his Iowa finish, has no realistic path to the nomination, and Trump is clearly the frontrunner, but Ingraham could at least pretend that she isn't in the tank for Trump. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Fox News host Laura Ingram did not mince words this week when she delivered a monologue directly to Ron DeSantis. Now, Ron DeSantis was not on the program with her, but she was speaking directly to him regardless. And Laura Ingram told Ron DeSantis that he has no shot at becoming the next president of the United States, and it's time for him to pack it up and endorse Donald Trump. Immediately here is what Laura Ingram had to say. Now, let's start with DeSantis. He outperformed last night. He beat Nikki Haley's war chest. So he has a lot of pe, a lot to be proud of as a candidate on the trail. He worked his butt off and people forget how young he is. So with what, three more years as Florida's governor, actually he has under two years left now. Dumb. He can build an even greater track record of, of success in that very important state.
So a future of the Republican Party for him could be really bright, but he's simply not gonna be president this time around. I know it's hard to hear. You worked really hard for it. It's not happening. Trump is simply too powerful and has endured too much. Voters aren't gonna turn their backs on him at this point. And every day that Ron DeSantis stays on the campaign trail criticizing Trump is a day that hurts Rhon DeSantis political future. He doesn't gain anything from it, that's for sure. And Trump, he's not hurt by it at all. So it's time to step aside and endorse Trump.
She's not wrong about some of the things that she said, but let's start with the things she is wrong about. He worked his butt off. No, he didn't. He used state funds to travel around the country to meet people who ultimately decided he was too creepy for them to vote for. So that's not really working your butt off. That's literally avoiding work because he's avoided it down here in the state of Florida to the point where our Republican super majorities in the house state and uh, house, Senate and and House of Representatives, um, they're at him. They're 'cause they can't get things done 'cause he's never here to actually do anything. So he hasn't worked his butt off. He's done the opposite. He's actually avoided doing work. Secondly, he is got a bright future in the Republican party. No, he doesn't he doesn't even have a bright future down here in Florida for the remaining two, not three, because you need to learn how to do math.
Two years he has here, they're so at him that they're already to the point where they're like, the emperor has no clothes, he has no authority over us. We don't have to bow to his every whim because we've seen how frail he is. Not to mention Laura, the fact that Donald Trump has bloodied him up so much just beat the living hell outta him on the campaign trail. DeSantis is never going to win another election. And even if Trump hadn't spent all that time beating him up, DeSantis has not won anyone over with his personality. That's not something you can overcome. And on top of that, you talk about everything he's done in the great state of Florida. Yeah, you realize almost all of it's getting overturned
By the courts, right? You know, may maybe pay attention to what's happening instead of just going out there and blubbering like an idiot. Now, as for the rest of it, you're right. DeSantis has no shot at being president. Not now, not ever..
