The Republican Party is trying to pretend that they aren't in full chaos mode behind the scenes, but there are apparently enough people willing to stir the pot by involving the press. So a very funny thing happened with Republicans during a closed door meeting on Tuesday this week, Republican representative Burgess Owens from Utah was getting super mad in this closed door. Private Republicans in the house meeting, okay? The press is not allowed in there. Democrats aren't allowed in there. It's just the Republican representatives. It's their caucus meeting. Burgess Owens gets up and he's like, by God, I'm sick and tired of the leaks. We got people in here that are leaking all of our dirty laundry to the press and they're, they're making it seem like we're a, we're a caucus in chaos.

Now what's funny about that is that I'm sitting here telling you about it because I wasn't in the meeting. It was a closed door meeting. So how did we hear that Burgess Owens is mad about people leaking because it was leaked to the press. So this guy goes at his meeting, and moans at all of them, like, stop leaking. And then they immediately reach out to the press and like, Hey, guess what? This a-hole just did. Um, so that's pretty funny. Also in the meeting, because this was also leaked to the press, things got a little heated between Republican speaker Mike Johnson and members of the House Freedom Caucus because they wanna shut down. Mike Johnson is sitting there telling them like, you realize if there is a government shutdown, we get blamed for it and we take the political hit, right? So there is chaos in the Republican Party and honestly it's kind of fun that all of this is getting leaked, especially the complaining about the leaks being leaked to the press.

But this is a Republican party that is not only trying to figure out how to govern for the first time, but they're also trying to maintain an image. And that's what's off Burgess Owens. This is an election year. It's gonna be a very contentious election year. There's a lot at stake, and if Republicans continuously get portrayed by the media as this party in chaos, both at the forefront and behind the scenes, people are gonna be turned off by that. And Mr. Owens knows that he doesn't want the public to think that Republicans can't agree on anything at all, but it is reality. What Burgess Owens, and so many other Republicans would love is for the people to not know the truth about how incompetent they are. 'cause that's where the anger comes from. It's not that, oh, Republicans are fighting and this makes us look bad. No, no, no. The fighting is because you are incompetent. The fighting is because you do not know how to govern. You don't know what you're doing. That's what the media is portraying to the public because that is reality. You can try to run from reality, you can try

To hide it, but in the end, reality always wins. And the public is beginning to understand on huge levels that Republicans are not good at being in charge of government.
