3:37Now PlayingRepublican Senator Lisa Murkowski is in complete disbelief that the members of her Party are tanking the immigration deal that they have been demanding for years. Apparently Murkowski doesn't get out much and doesn't watch the news, because there is nothing shocking at all about Republicans tanking this deal. They've openly admitted that it would help President Biden, and they would rather let a problem fester than allow a Democrat to do something good, even if people are harmed along the way. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Republicans, as we all know, are working to tank the bipartisan immigration deal that the Senate has been working on for months and months and months because Republicans in the Senate actually demanded it, right? This wasn't just a, Hey, let's do something about immigration. Republicans in the Senate and in the House at the time had said, if you want to keep giving funds to Ukraine so they can fight back Russia, you have to give us an immigration deal. Democrats and Democrats said, okay, those are your demands. We will do that. They've been working on this immigration deal, and now thanks to Donald Trump's interference, Republicans are saying, no, we're not gonna do the thing that we demanded we do. And for some reason, Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski is shocked by this. Here's what Lisa Murkowski had to say. This was in the Senate this week, by the way, it was the Republicans. I will remind you that told the Democrats months ago that if you wanna try to get your Ukraine funding, you're going to have to take up the border issue. This is what we asked for. She then pointed out Republican Senator James Langford who said, this is what Senator, this is what we asked Senator Langford to go and negotiate. It's what he did. He did it in good faith. So let's take up what we asked for.
Lisa Murkowski doesn't understand like what is wrong with your Republicans? We wanted this. We're getting this. President Biden's even said this week that if you pass this bill, I'll shut down the border today. So what are we waiting for? She doesn't understand. I would like to see, not, I would like to know. I would like to see what Cave Lisa Murkowski's been living in because she genuinely seems shocked. Like, what? What is going on here? I don't understand. Do, are you that secluded? Do you not watch the news? Do you not have social media? What's happening has been happening out in the open, so there's no reason to be shocked. Donald Trump has told Republicans do not pass an immigration deal. House Republicans have been screaming we can't pass an immigration deal. And every one of 'em has said, we can't do it because it'll help Biden, right? We're campaigning on immigration this year. Republicans are saying, we're trying to convince the public that it's horrible that we've got a so-called invasion across the southern border, and if we stop the invasion, what are people gonna vote for us for? That is literally what they're telling us. And Murkowski is sitting here pretending to be shocked and not knowing like, what the hell is going on here? Open your eyes, Lisa. This is what your party has become. This is who they are, and they've been this way for a long time. And every time Republicans
Do what Republicans do, Lisa Murkowski acts like, well, oh my God, who've thunk it. Literally everyone, apparently you are not paying attention to what your own party has become over the last 10, 20 years because you genuinely seem shocked every time Republicans do what Republicans do.
