3:46Now PlayingThe Biden campaign decided to hit Donald Trump where it hurts him the most. The campaign took their recent ad that highlights Trump's continuous gaffes and they are now running it on Truth Social. They are hitting Trump on his own turf, and forcing his followers to see what the rest of the country thinks of the man that they worship. This is smart strategy, even if it isn't going to win over any new voters. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

So about a week or so ago, I talked about the fact that President Biden put out this new ad. He put it on Twitter, I'm not gonna call it by that letter. He put it on Twitter. Uh, and it basically called out Donald Trump's numerous mental gaffes calling into question. Of course, Donald Trump's cognitive state and Biden didn't have to do anything. All he added at the end of the ad was on President Biden. I approved this message, but the ad actually featured Nikki Haley skewering Donald Trump for saying that she was the one in charge of security at the Capitol on January 6th. And Trump said her name five times while talking about that. Obviously not true thing. And it of course includes many other gaffes of Donald Trump that do show his cognitive decline. It's a great ad and that's why I talked about it at the time.
Well, the Biden campaign decided, you know what? This is actually doing pretty well on Twitter. What if we put it on another social media site? So over the last few days, that ad has been running on Donald Trump's very own truth, social, the Biden Harris campaign, which by the way, has been going much harder against Donald Trump recently. I love to see it. That's what we need. They've been hitting Trump, Trump on his cognitive decline, and now they said, let's do it on truth social. Let's go to his actual audience and make them watch how screwed up this man is. And they did. They went to Trump's home turf and called him out. Now listen, are they gonna win over any new voters? Like is there anyone at all on Truth Social that's gonna see that and then be like, oh wow, okay. I'm not gonna vote for, I'm gonna vote for Biden.
No, there's not. There's absolutely nobody that's gonna watch it on truth social that is going to become a Biden voter. But what it's gonna do is force these people to watch. It's gonna force these people to see the man that they're supporting, and 99.9% of them are gonna think it's okay. 99.9% of 'em are gonna think that it's not even real, that it's ai. 'cause Trump's been telling them that about certain gaps he's made. But it's that 0.1%, right? If you can reach 0.1% of these people, if you can change the minds of five or 10 of them, that's a positive step. If you can convince a few, a handful of Trump supporters that this man is not a God, that this man is not worthy of being idolized, that he is, in fact just a decrepit old man, if you can convince a couple people of that, then you've done your job for the rest of them. You're just trying to 'em off. 'cause sometimes that's fun and I'm okay with that too. But it's that handful
Of people, right? If you can get a couple, if you can get one or two here and there anywhere, you can take it. Again, I'm not even saying they're gonna start voting for Democrat, but if you can just convince them that Trump's not worth going out to vote for a non-voter is just as good for the Democrats as a Democratic voter. So it's a smart strategy. I like it. I condone it, and I hope that as this election cycle goes on, the Biden campaign remains as aggressive as they are today because that is what they need to be doing. Trump's polls are lagging, Biden's polls are rising. Biden has the wind at his back right now. He can continue to use it to his advantage, and I think they may actually be smart enough to keep doing that.
