YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

A MAGA-loving Missouri Secretary of State candidate posted a video of herself online where she is seen taking a flamethrower and burning several books with LGBTQ themes. She promises that if she is elected, these and so many other books are going to burn. They aren't even trying to hide their disdain for knowledge and lifestyles that don't line up with their own. People like this are speed walking us right back to Nazi Germany, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

A Secretary of State candidate Republican maga, Trump loving Secretary of State candidate in the state of Missouri, put out a video this week where she took a flame thrower and burned books with L-G-B-T-Q themes and promised that if she's elected Secretary of State, that is what she is gonna do to all of these books. She says, in case you haven't seen the video, here it is. That was Valentina Gomez. Again, a MAGA loving, Trump loving Republican candidate for Secretary of State in the state of Missouri, literally echoing Nazi Germany by burning books, boasting about it, and then pledging to ban more if she actually gets elected into office.

I mean, I, I, I know the comparisons to, to Nazi Germany. There's, there's so many of them and it kind of gets tired and people are probably tired of hearing of it. It's almost cliche at this point, but my God, that is what the Nazis did. They had book burnings, they had massive book burnings, and people, instead of being horrified, loved it and joined in and they would throw their books in and it was great fun time for everybody. And we're back to that. In case you're wondering, by the way, and I love this, this saying, it's been going around for quite some time, like, oh, how could people have let this happen? You know, what would you have done if you were in that situation? You're doing it right now. Whatever you're doing now is what you would've done back then because we're seeing history repeat itself right now with people like Valentina Gomez.

And of course, the big irony here is that Ms. Gomez, there is obviously re a Republican, and she doesn't seem to realize that she is actually two things that Republicans really hate, right? A non-white person and a woman. You are literally going to bat burning books with a frigging flame thrower that you had written. I don't know if you caught this in the video. She wrote liberal tears on the side of it. Um, okay. But you are literally the kind of person based on your ethnicity and based on your gender, that Republicans are stripping rights from left and right, and you're still going to bat for them. You're still doing their dirty work for them, and you don't even realize that if they had the chance, they would kick you out of this country like that. But it doesn't matter, right? 'cause you got a common enemy. You hate these books that you've never read, you never opened them. And by the way, if what you said is true, if those books actually did come from the public library, if you went to the public library, check those books out and burned them, that's, that's destruction of somebody else's property. And that's a,

That's a crime. So I don't know if doing crimes in a campaign video is a smart idea, but I'm willing to bet that it's not. So law enforcement in Missouri, you may wanna go check with the library to see if they're missing some property, because I think I know where it went.
