Kari Lake Has Almost Completely Bankrupted Her Senate Campaign

Kari Lake is finding out just how much people in Arizona aren't fans of hers as she struggles with her new senate campaign. According to recent financial filings, her campaign is struggling to raise money and is spending it far faster than they can bring it in. The campaign is now saddled with hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, and they really haven't even started campaigning yet. This isn't a good omen for the wannabe GOP star, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Kari Lake's campaign for the United States Senate seat in the state of Arizona has barely even taken off. And already she has pretty much bankrupted her entire Senate campaign. According to the most recent campaign, financial disclosure reports, Kari Lake has $300,000 in debt. So a net negative for her campaign, even though she's barely gotten started, she has somehow incurred $300,000 in outstanding debts. And she has raised, by the way, a million dollars. That's what the campaign reported. We raised a million dollars, but you know, we spent money here, spent money there, spent it over there. And so now we're net negative 300,000. So doing the quick math, they raised 1 million, but they spent 1.3 million, which means they're of course spending money faster than it is coming in. And the question is, what in the hell are you spending money on? I mean, the primary for the United States Senate in Arizona is August 6th.

Okay? We're in the first week of February here, folks. And she's already spent $1.3 million on what? Like, you're not running TV ads, you. What? What are you doing, Kari? Where's the money going? I think you owe your own voters and your donors an explanation as to what in the hell you were spending all this money on. Well, here's the problem. Kari Lake has, not only is she struggling to raise money, but she's also still not very popular in Arizona. Her antics after losing the 2022 gubernatorial race in Arizona, and of course she is still fighting those lawsuits saying, I'm the rightful governor, even though she's been given what, six or seven opportunities in different courts to prove that. And she's repeatedly failed to do it. Um, that's kind of made her not as popular as she thinks she is. And then of course, the recent scandal where she revealed the audio tapes that she had secretly been recording over conversations with the now former chair of the Arizona Republican Party, where he basically said, um, I'll give you money if you get the hell outta here. So that didn't sit well with the party 'cause they actually liked the guy. They didn't want him to step down. They, they didn't want his reputation tarnished. They just picked him less than a year ago and they liked him. And Ka Lake ruined his life and his career. So Ka Lake keeps making all of these stupid mistakes that make people dislike her more. And again, we're in February, she has to go all the way through August before the primary, and she's

Outta money. She's got six months left and she's got $300,000 in debt and she's not doing a very good job fundraising. So there is a good chance that before Kari Lake even makes it to that August primary, that her campaign has gone so broke that she has to drop out. And honestly, I am 100% hoping that that's what happens.
