President Biden is hyping up the recovering economy as his greatest accomplishment since taking office, but there's actually an area where he has achieved unmatched success compared to all of his predecessors - and this success is going to outlast the economic gains. This success is in the federal court system, where President Biden is reshaping the judiciary with a record number of judges that represent many "firsts" and "onlies" for their demographics and backgrounds. President Biden right now, along with Vice President Kamala Harris, uh, they've been going around talking a lot about Biden omics. That is what they're trying to make the central focal point of the 2024 election. The economy was in shambles when they came into office. Just like by the way, the two previous Democratic presidents before them. Republicans always create an economic disaster for the country, and then a Democrat has to come along and fix it. Bill Clinton did it. Barack Obama did it, and now President Biden has done it as well, and he's done a pretty good job of it. Sure. Now that's not saying there's not economic problems for average working class people. There's horrific problems for those people. But are they better today than they were four years ago? Hell yeah. Is everybody better? No. But are more people better? Yes. Okay, we get it.

But here's the thing for me, that's not his biggest accomplishment. You know, a lot of that is just simply due to the fact that Covid got more under control. It's not under control by any means. Uh, by the way, last week, over 2200 Americans died from Covid. It's still a thing, but people are back to work. We're creating new jobs, jobs report month after month, exceeding expectations. Inflation is down. We have not reigned in corporate greed, which is a horrific thing. We've gotta get a handle on that. But again, overall, statistically numerically, everything is better and that's what they want to hammer. I disagree.

Biden's biggest accomplishment. And one that, but for the record he's getting no credit for is the fact that he has, as of this recording confirmed 177 lifetime judicial appointments to the federal bench, including Supreme Court Justice Kenji Brown Jackson. That is a hell of an accomplishment, but it's not just that he's got 177 judges appointed. It's the caliber of people that he is appointed. Let me read you this. This is from the Hill. This week. Record numbers are women, people of color, and people who are historic firsts or onlys, the first individuals from an underrepresented community to serve on their particular bench. Right now, more than one third, more than one third of all black women, federal judges in US history have been nominated by Biden at the appellate court level. President Biden has named more black women to the circuit courts than all of his predecessors combined. Professional diversity is also strong. No longer are federal judges coming primarily from the ranks of corporate America. Public defenders and civil rights attorneys are finally getting a full opportunity to sit on the bench. It's hard to overstate how much this means for the average person having their day in court.

Like you and me, A day in court is likely to be one of the worst days of our lives and a day when we are at our most vulnerable. Biden judges bring lived diverse experience to the bench. Their experience helps them stand in the shoes of people seeking justice. That is what sets President Biden's judicial appointments, sets 'em apart from Obama, sets 'em apart from Bill Clinton.
