Trump Keeps Mocking Nikki Haley's Husband Because It Generates Media Coverage

Donald Trump continues to mock Nikki Haley's husband after he learned that he was "missing" from the campaign trail because he's serving with the National Guard in Africa. So last week, Donald Trump took a lot of heat in a campaign rally when he mocked Nikki Haley's husband. He of course, as we all know, went out there and said, where's your husband? I don't see him anywhere. Must have disappeared. Well, then it was revealed shortly after that he was in fact serving with the National Guard over in Africa. So Nikki Haley went after him. A few other Republicans went after him. The national media went after him. It was a days long story. And then just as that story was starting to die down, Trump got on truth social this week and posted this tricking Nikki is crashing in the polls. She is 15 points down to crooked Joe Biden, and I'm crushing him in all polls. She's got no reason to make it to the South Carolina primary. The other day, she had almost no people attend her rally.

We had thousands and thousands who couldn't even get into the large arena, an embarrassment to her wonderful husband in Africa. I think he should come back home to help save her dying campaign. So he once again is mocking Nikki Haley's husband. But let me, let me stop him right there real quick. Let's go back to the first sentence where he is like, she's losing to Biden by 15 points and I'm winning in all polls. Actually, no, she's beating Biden by six points nationally. You, on the other hand, are actually losing to Biden in all polls. So right outta the gate to start his comment, he's lying. Nikki Haley does in fact beat Donald Trump. Donald Trump does not beat Joe Biden. So we got a real rock paper scissor situation there. But either way, it is what it is because Trump is running away with the nomination.

But he's mocking her husband again, he didn't have to throw that in there. He could have just, you know, said, ah, Nikki sucks. And then told his lies about the polls. 'cause he knows his followers aren't gonna go look at the polls. They don't believe him anyway, when they show he is losing. They only believe him when they show he is winning. But he mocked the husband and, and this is a realization I really feel like I should have come to a long time ago, but he brought it back up because the first time he did it, he was in all the headlines on all the news sites, on every website in this country. And the cable news was talking about it all day long. So once it died down, he did it again to put his name back in the headlines. He knows it's negative attention, but any attention for Trump is good.

And again, I kind of feel stupid that I haven't come to this realization sooner, but it explains a lot about why Trump will repeat stupid things over and over again. It's because it puts him in the headlines. And we've known forever obviously, that he does wanna be in the headlines and he'll say outrageous things, but he repeats debunked things. Not necessarily because he believes it, but because if he says something stupid and crazy, he knows the media has to report it, which means the media's talking about him. So we're getting a little bit more insight into how Donald Trump's brain works.
