Trump Admits To Lots Of Crimes In Bonkers Fox News Townhall

Donald Trump did a townhall with Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham this week, and he'd better hope that Jack Smith wasn't watching. After being asked by Ingraham about why he didn't turn the classified documents back over to the government after they asked for them, Trump stated clearly that he "didn't have to" give them back. He claims that he had a right to defy the subpoena because they were his documents. This is literally an admission to a crime, and it will likely be used against him in court, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Donald Trump did a town hall this week with Laura Ingram from Fox News. And during their discussion back and forth, Donald Trump said a lot of stupid things. He said a lot of things that made no sense. He once again went on his rant about faucets and water pressure and toilets and all that. But he also admitted to some crimes, um, very stupidly admitted that he definitely committed some crimes. So here's what happened. Laura Ingram was asking him about Joe Biden not being charged for having documents 'cause he returned him and all that. And she said, do you think Biden should be charged? Now, to his credit, Donald Trump didn't even address that. Instead, Trump said, I was allowed to do what I did. Absolutely allowed. That's admission number one. That's admitting that yes, I took the documents. Yes, I had the documents in my possession, and of course, taking the documents and having them in possession is a crime.

You, you legally cannot do that. So that is a crime. That is admission number one. Then Laura Ingram asked him this, why didn't you just hand them over when they requested them? I mean, they requested them. You could have just handed them over, probably save yourself a lot of trouble. It's a valid question. It's, it's an accurate assessment too. The DOJ did not wanna charge Donald Trump. They gave him every opportunity in the world to just give us our documents back. And none of this, none of this happens anymore. And Trump responded to that question by saying, first of all, I didn't have to hand them over, but second of all, I would've done that. We, we were talking and then all of a sudden they raid Mar-a-Lago. See there, there's your second admission because they had actually submitted the subpoena for the documents.

And you're admitting I didn't have to. So you're admitting that you defied the subpoena. So you just admitted to two pretty serious crimes on national television and your dumb doesn't even realize it. Now, here's the problem that Trump has. You know how when you're arrested, they read you your Miranda rights and like anything you say or do can be used against you in a court of law? Well, guess what? That's not only applicable to what you say in police custody. It basically goes for anything you say anywhere. So Jack Smith, if he hasn't seen that clip from Fox News this week, somebody ought to send it to him because that's definitely the kind of thing that you're going to play in court. Just because Donald Trump wasn't under oath when he said it, and he wasn't speaking to law enforcement, when he said, it doesn't mean that it cannot be used against him. It is in fact an admission. So he can play that in court. He can show the jury like, look at this. He doesn't even deny that he did it. He's bragging

About it. He's saying he was allowed to defy subpoenas, he was allowed to steal documents. And for the record, no, he is not. And if this were in front of any other judge in this country, other than Judge Eileen Cannon, Trump would be convicted. Like hands down. This trial would last a couple days maybe because it's so open and shut and he would be convicted. But Cannon has done everything in her power to tip the scales of justice in favor of Donald Trump. And there's a good chance he gets away with it.
