Republicans Are Now Cursing Each Other Out During Committee Hearings

In case you were wondering how poorly things are going with Republicans in the House of Representatives and how bad their infighting has become. Take a look at something that happened this week. You had Republican representative Michael McCall, who is of course the chair of the, uh, house Foreign Affairs Committee. They had a hearing on Tuesday. They're talking to, uh, general Mark Millie about the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, right? They're trying to paint President Biden in a negative light. Oh, he's negligent with the Afghanistan withdrawal, yada, yada, yada. Well, at one point, Darrell Isa, another Republican, uh, had gone a little bit over his speaking time and not realizing that his mic was on. Chairman Michael McCall said, oh, go yourself.

That is literally the clip that was caught on the hot mic. Those are his words. Not gonna repeat it, but that is what Mike McCall said because his fellow Republican went a little bit over his speaking time. Here is what happened after Mike McCall was called out for this on social media. Mike McCall says It was a long day and I lost my temper. Uh, that is uncharacteristic of me. And I apologize to Mr. Isa, who I consider a friend, Darrell Isa dressed in on social media and said, Hey, representative McCall, I've been called worse and by people I don't like. So see, no harm, no foul, right? It's just Republicans had a long day. You know, they gotta work three days a week. Oh my god. Horrible. And so he just lost his temper. No. Like, and why would you lose your temper? Anyway, he went a little over his speaking time.

And for the record, this wasn't even like a late afternoon hearing. So like, it's been a long day, dude. It's like two o'clock in the afternoon, you're a grownup. Grow up. Um, you didn't just lose your temper. 'cause we can see the video. By the way, the video is in the description, in the link in this video. If you do want to go see it, you're not irate. You clearly didn't lose your temper, your feelings towards your fellow Republicans boiled over and that's why you got mad that he went a little over his speaking time. But this is how toxic things have become within the Republican caucus in the House of Representatives. They hate each other. And I know they're trying to make nice on social media and be like, Hey, I've been called worse, but at least I like you. No bull crap. These people hate each other. And their hatred, their animosity towards one another is preventing them from doing anything worthwhile in Congress. They are useless. They are worthless, and

They can't even put aside their petty differences to do the bare minimum to keep the government functioning. We are headed for the fifth potential government shutdown in the last 10 months right now. And they can't even agree on the budget. They can't even speak to one another without cursing each other out. We have seen that multiple times in the last year. My God, how many stories have there been of Republicans cursing each other out, either behind the scenes in closed door meetings on the floor of the house, like Marjorie Taylor Greene to Lauren Bobert and now this in a, in a committee hearing? 'cause you're too dumb to realize your microphone was on. Yeah. These are the grownups that voters definitely should keep in control of Congress because they're totally doing a bang up job right.
