YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDonald Trump is running out of campaign cash at an alarming rate, so his campaign has now come up with a clever way to raise lots of money. They have decided that they are going to start charging every candidate that uses Trump's name in their campaigns, and that charge will amount to 5% of what the candidate earns. This is, by far, the weirdest and most conman-type thing that Trump has done since entering politics, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Because Donald Trump is of course, struggling to raise money for his presidential campaign. And the small amounts of money he is raising, of course, are going towards his legal fees. He's
Gotta figure out what he's gonna
Do to get money to actually be able to run for president, run ads, hold rallies, all of that. But don't worry, his campaign has come up with a brilliant plan to get that cash they need to run for president, and they've decided they're just going to steal it from other Republican candidates because their campaigns don't matter, right? The only thing that matters for Republicans is Donald Trump's campaign. If they lose every other race because no candidate has any money, that does not matter. It should all go to Trump. So this new plan, according to a memo sent out by the Trump campaign, okay, this isn't something they're discussing, it's not an idea a couple people had. They've literally sent out the memo, and this is what they're gonna do. If you use Donald Trump's name in your campaign, if you use his image or likeness in your campaign to raise money, you gotta give us part of that money. You gotta give us 5%. But this is the funniest part. If you want to give more than 5%, that would certainly be looked upon favorably by the Trump campaign, and of course, by the RNC. Let me read you this.
All candidates and committees who choose to use President Trump's name, image, and likeness split a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee, JFC. Any split that is higher than 5% will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign, and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations. This is the biggest grift I have ever seen Donald Trump try to pull off, right? You are literally just stealing their money.
And
Then you're like, if you let us steal more than what we're already gonna steal from you, we will tell the RNC that you have been very cooperative.
He's like a frigging mafia
Boss, right?
I'm
Not even a mafia boss. She's just like a mafia enforcer. Like, Hey, you owe us that protection money. Let me tell you, if you wanna give us a little bit more, we're gonna let the boss know. And the boss is gonna look kindly upon that, right?
Like, that's what's happening here. This is absolute insanity. But that's, that's what happens when
You let the conman take over your party. He's gonna steal your
Money. He's literally telling you he's gonna steal money
From all of these candidates
Because
Yeah, they're gonna use
His name. I mean, in all
Campaigns, you typically try to latch your horse onto somebody that you think is more popular than you, but it gets even better. It's from Rolling Stone. The letter demonstrates how fixated the Trump campaign is on ensuring that political donations in any way link to Trump, make it directly to the campaign's coffers. The the, the notice includes a series of guidelines for vendors listing fundraising tactics they should avoid, including speaking on behalf of President Trump, mentioning the president's family without their consent or the consent of the campaign, and even quote, copying the language or style from President Trump's fundraising solicitations. So not only do you have to give him your money, if you want to use his image, you can't talk like him.
