Confused Alina Habba Says Being In Court Is Like Being In 'The Twilight Zone'

In an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters at the end of last week, Donald Trump's lawyer Alina Habba appeared confused about how things work in a criminal courtroom, and admitted that its like being in "The Twilight Zone." Her comments were weird, to say the least, as she is a lawyer by training and shouldn't feel like being in a court is a bizarre experience for her. But this just goes to show how incompetent she is at her job, even when she doesn't have a job to do because she's not on the trial team. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Alina Haba attended pretty much every single day of Donald Trump's criminal hush money trial in Manhattan last week. Part of it is so that she can leave the courtroom each day, go run crying to Fox News and spin what happened that day, because that's her job as his paid spokesperson. But she's also there to kind of serve as a babysitter along with Trump's son, Eric, to make sure that Donald does not lash out in courtroom and basically kill his case by off the jury and the judge. So she's there as a babysitter, but she's also kind of gathering some information. And as I said, her job is to then run to the media and spin everything that happened that day, which is exactly what she did every single day last week and late last week, she appeared on Fox News with host Jesse Waters, where she, Alina Habba, a lawyer who allegedly went to law school and has tried cases before, said that being in a courtroom is apparently like being in the Twilight Zone, because I guess it just confuses her so much. She doesn't know what's happening. Here's what she said. So, you know, you walk in and it's really actually something surreal. You feel like you're in the Twilight Zone and you know, I appreciate that they all want to act journalistic in those moments. I'm sitting there and I'm looking, but they're snaring and it's a very strange feeling.

It's a very strange feeling for the lawyer to be in a courtroom. I, I, I, I don't quite understand what it is. She's telling Jesse Waters here. Like, again, you went to law school, you've actually handled trials before you've been in a courtroom, and now suddenly you're like, yeah, I mean, I walk in there at holy crap. It's like the Twilight Zone. I don't know what's going on. Who are these people? Why are there journalists here? People are taking pictures. I am confused and scared. What? Oh my God, this is your job and you're not even, by the way, part of this legal team. If it feels weird and it feels like the Twilight Zone to you, Alina, you have one very important option, and that is you are choosing to be there and you don't have to be there. If you wanna just leave, you can leave.

If it scares you that much to be in a courtroom, first of all, leave. 'cause you're not required to be there. Second of all, choose a different career. I don't think anyone in this country would ever be comfortable hiring a lawyer that's like, yeah, man, when I walk into court. It's like the Twilight Zone. I don't know what's happening. It's scary and confusing to me. If you walked into a lawyer's office and they said that to you, you'd be like, okay, well thank you for your time. I'm going to hire somebody else because this is terrifying me. I don't want a lawyer that's scared to walk into a courtroom because

It confuses them. But that is effectively what Alina Haba, I guess, is admitting here. And it really does speak volumes to how incompetent she is as a lawyer. And by the way, we've also seen that incompetence on full display with all of the cases that she is lost for Donald Trump. Maybe when this is all over, he is gonna look back at her performance and realize, oh, that's why she keeps losing. Because being in a courtroom is very scary and confusing for her. I doubt he'll come to that realization, but it's there if he wants to make that connection.
