4:23Now PlayingThe debates between President Biden and Donald Trump are now set, but the third party candidates have been completely excluded from the process. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is not happy about this, and he got on social media to accuse the Democratic and Republican candidates of colluding against him to keep him off the stage. There may be something to this complaint, and it certainly would benefit the public to see ALL the candidates up on stage together so that they can make a more informed choice in November, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Well, folks, the debate is set June 27th. CNN is gonna be hosting it. A massive showdown, of course, between the only two people running for president, right? President Biden and Donald Trump. Those are gonna be the only two people on stage. And I guess based on that, they're the only two, two people running, right? Well, no, as we all know, there are in fact other people running for president, but those people have of course, been excluded from that debate stage. And this has not gone unnoticed, obviously, by independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. And he took to social media this week to accuse both President Biden and Donald Trump of colluding against him to prevent him from going on that debate stage. Here's what Bobby said On Twitter presidents, Trump and Biden are colluding to lock America into a head-to-head matchup that 70% say they do not want. And for the record, that is the number.
70% of people say, we would love to have not. These two guys there, he continues. They're trying to exclude me from their debate because they're afraid I would win. Keeping viable candidates off the debate stage undermines democracy by excluding me from the stage. Biden and Trump seek to avoid discussion of their eight years of mutual failure failure, including deficits, wars, lockdowns, chronic disease, and inflation. Now, I may not agree with absolutely everything that Bobby just said right there, but I 100% agree with him that he should be on that debate stage. And for the record, not just him, Cornell West should be on that debate stage. Jill Stein should be on that debate stage. If you are running for president and you are on, honestly, any ballot in this country, if people can go to the polls in November and your name is printed on their ballot, you should be on the debate stage.
It's as simple as that. I don't care if you support them or not. We have a very important choice to make that's going to affect the next four years of this country. We should have as many options as possible. And if these people are on a ballot, and Bobby is, he should be on that debate stage because the American people should be able to have that choice. They should be able to see what he has to say, and then they can determine whether they like it or they don't like it, right? Isn't that the point? Isn't that why we have debates so that people can see, well, wait a minute, I didn't like that guy, but actually I kind of do now. Or, you know what, I really liked this, this person, but now I don't. That's what this is all about. So I am going to agree a hundred percent that Bobby should be on that stage. And of course, by undercutting the commission
On presidential debates, what that does is that removes those requirements that that group has, right? Because that one, uh, you have to be on the uh, uh, ballot in X number of states, and you have to be polling at like 15 to 20% in a certain number of polls. You gotta jump through all these hoops to get on there, and it's designed that way to keep the other parties off. Now, having said all that, let me reiterate this, 'cause I've, I've said it plenty of times, and I'll say it again. Now, out of all of these people that I have listed that are running for president right now, Biden, Trump, Kennedy, west Stein, out of all of those people, I choose Biden.
