Trump Reemerges From 9 Straight Days Of Golf To Tell Republican Lawmakers To Cry Themselves To Sleep

Donald Trump has spent every single day since the presidential debate on the golf course, allegedly hiding away to avoid any screw ups while the media focuses on President Biden. But he came out of hiding on Tuesday morning to rave like a lunatic on Truth Social about Republicans in Congress, telling them to pass a complete unnecessary piece of legislation or else they could, in his words, "cry yourself to sleep." That taunt actually makes no sense, but that's the least confusing part of what Trump is saying. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Aside from a rally the day after the presidential debate, and of course a rally on Tuesday of this week, Donald Trump spent nine straight days hiding away from the media, playing golf on his little golf course up there in New Jersey, nine straight days, just nonstop golfing in between, of course posts on social media. And on Tuesday of this week, again, the same day he did that Florida rally, he decided to get on social media and for some reason attack his own Republican party. Now, Trump had been doing a good job, right? His handlers, you know, as everybody's pointed out, have been hiding him away. Let the media focus on Biden. You know, you don't go out there, don't do anything stupid. Don't say anything stupid. We gotta protect you right now. 'cause everybody's talking about Biden. And then Trump came out and did quite possibly the dumbest thing ever.

Here is what Donald Trump put on truth. Social Republicans must pass the save act or go home and cry yourself to sleep. Get tough. RNC Michael Waitley, it's actually Watley. And that's your guy. You, you should know how to spell his name. Speaker Mike Johnson. And all state and local Republican politicians, non-citizen, illegal migrants are getting the right to vote, being pushed by crooked Democrat politicians who are not being stopped by an equally dishonest justice department. The Justice Department is corrupt and won't do a thing to help. They have no shame. All I can say is that if I'm elected president, we will pursue election fraud, stirs at levels never seen before, and they will be sent to prison for long periods of time. Our whole voting system is under siege. The only way Democrats can win is to cheat. The Dems can't win on their policies. They do it at every level of government, and they do it well.

Yet, you probably should have just stayed on the golf course. Now, in case you're not familiar with the Save Act, and you couldn't gather it from the context of Donald Trump's incoherent, rambling. The Save Act is a piece of legislation that criminalizes something that's already illegal in the United States, I wish I was making that up, but Republicans literally have a piece of legislation to make something illegal that is already illegal and that is illegal residents in the United States voting or legal residents, but not yet citizens voting. You already can't do that. That's already a crime. It's a felony. But because Donald Trump has to keep pushing these election lies, has to keep claiming that Democrats are cheating. He's forcing Republicans to pass a redundant law that is just criminalizing what's already criminalized. And he's tell like, if you're not gonna do it, go home and cry yourself to sleep. What does that even mean? Like if they don't do it, why would they cry? Right? If you're choosing to not do something,

Then why would they be the ones going home to cry about it? It seems like you are the one that's gonna go home and cry about it, because I don't know, because this is incoherent, rambling from a crazy person. Okay? I know the media loving to focus on Joe Biden right now, but can we please go back to focusing on how insane Donald Trump is? Right?
