Trump Rages Against Biden And Democrats After A Week Of Calling For Unity

Donald Trump said last week that his message at the RNC was going to be one of unity, and he even discussed the idea of unity in his speech on Thursday. But he hasn't actually changed, and he proved that with posts on Truth Social and during his rally this past weekend. Trump raged at President Biden and the Democrats as a whole, calling them names and accusing them of "attacking" the Right in this country - a message that could easily incite violence. Some Republicans, definitely not all of them, spent the past week talking about unity. Just like those on the left were talking about unity. Even Donald Trump was talking about, we gotta come together. Trump's campaign sent out a memo, said, we gotta tamp down the rhetoric. Let's cool it on the violence. And Donald Trump's speech this past Thursday at the RNC, he even talked about unity a little bit. So are we going to see a different Donald Trump? Is he gonna change following the uh, failed assassination attempt last Saturday? The answer to that is a resounding no. He has not changed at all. If anything, folks, he has actually gotten worse on Saturday morning. A week after the shooting, Donald Trump woke up and posted this on truth social. We are under attack from crooked Joe Biden, the worst president in the history of the United States, and a weak and pathetic man who uses the Justice Department to harass and intimidate his political opponents because he's in no way capable of winning by himself.

He has created a horrible precedent for the future. Democrat appointed judges and prosecutors together with local das and attorney generals have played the game with them based on the opinion of legal scholars and experts. They had no good case out of the many against me, but of all the cases, their best shot was the documents case, a complete hoax in Florida. They illegally raided my house, Mar-a-Lago in that one. Well, that case was just thrown out in full and that it was unconstitutional. The others are on weak grounds, including those where we have crooked judges and prosecutors. It is all a political witch hunt. And Biden should insist that everything now be dropped. Run a fair and open campaign, he said in all caps.

Yeah, that is quite the message of unity war, right? Like President Biden is the worst president in history. He's a weak and pathetic man and he is attacking us. Trump said that's the important part. He said, we are under attack, not I am under attack. We are under attack. And what do you do when you're under attack? You fight back that even though he didn't, you know, specifically call for it. That is a dog whistle for violence. We are under attack. What are you gonna do about it? That's what that means. And just in case you thought it was limited to truth social. Oh God, no. He also at a rally this past weekend said, uh, went after the Democrats and he said, they keep saying he's a threat to democracy. I'm saying, what the hell did I do for democracy last week? I took a bullet for democracy. So he's calling out the Democrats for calling him out for being a threat to democracy and then trying to get the sympathy by saying, I took a bullet for democracy. Bullet grazed the side of your ear, dude. Like, let's be real about what happened. A man did die. I don't even know if you've acknowledged him yet.

Corey Compre is dead and you're out there like, I took a bullet. No, you didn't. But he also tried to distance himself from Project 2025 saying the other side is going around trying to make me sound extreme like I'm an extremist. I'm not. I am a person with great common sense. I am not an extremist at all. Before also adding that he knows nothing of Project 2025. Other than that time he was on video from last year praising the Heritage Foundation for crafting the blueprint for his next administration. He knows exactly what Project 2025 is.
