Republicans Are Lining Up To Endorse Kamala Harris

It is obvious that Kamala Harris has already locked up support from her own Party, but now she’s getting an even bigger boost by a group called Republicans for Harris. The group, consisting of several high-profile Republican (former) lawmakers, is encouraging normal Republicans to get behind Harris in order to stop Trump from getting back into The White House, and this isn’t something that Trump can replicate on his side. You know, I've talked a lot recently about Kamala Harris, essentially getting the entire Democratic coalition behind her to support her. More than 80% of the party says they are happy with her as the nominee, which is a stark contrast, almost a complete flip from the number that said they were okay with Biden being the nominee. But she has shored up that Democratic support. And as we've seen in various polls after poll, after poll, after poll, she's also shoring up a lot of the moderates and independents in this country. But what about Republicans, right? I mean, are Republicans lining up to endorse Kamala Harris for President of the United States? Yes. Yes, they actually are. This past Sunday, the Harris campaign actually announced the formation of a new group being led, of course, by former Republican lawmakers, that's called Republicans for Harris. And Adam Kininger, of course, the former Republican lawmaker who was a very much anti-Trump Republican, was the first one to come out post on social media and say, there is nothing conservative about Donald Trump. Conservatives believe in the Constitution, not a man's ego. He put man in quotation marks, which I love, endorsing American democracy in the future today, and leaving the past in the dust. I'm endorsing Kamala Harris.

That again was from Adam Kinzinger, but right. I mean, okay, that's to be expected. It's not like there's a huge long list of other Republicans that have endorsed her. Right? Well, depends. Do you consider Rod Chandler of Washington, Tom Coleman of Missouri, Dave Emery of Maine, Wayne Gilchrist of Maryland, Jim Greenwood of Pennsylvania, Josh Batier of New York, Susan Molinari of New York, Jack Quinn of New York, Denver, Riggleman of VI Virginia. Claudine Schneider of Rhode Island, Christopher Shades of Connecticut, Peter Smith of Vermont, Alan Steelman of Texas, David Trott of Michigan, Joe Walsh of Illinois, former US Secretary, Chuck Hagel, former US Secretary of Transportation, Ray LaHood, former GOP, state Chair and State Senator Chris Vance of Washington. Reed Howard of Young Republicans for Harris, former Republican National Committee Delegate Rena Shaw. Uh, former Republican governors. Jim Edgar of Illinois, bill Weld of Massachusetts, and Christine Todd Whitman of New Jersey, former Georgia Lieutenant Governor Jeff Duncan, former Republican Mesa, Arizona Mayor John Gilles, and of course we're the other two. I seem to have misplaced them, but do I even, oh, Stephanie Grisham and Olivia Troy. Yeah, I'd say that's a pretty big list. And again, these aren't just your average everyday run-of-the-Mill Republicans that nobody's ever heard of. A lot of these are big names in their home states, and those are all Republicans who have now signed on and endorsed Kamala Harris for President of the United States. And if you don't think that these former Republicans who are still popular

In their areas have any sway over their voters, then you are kidding yourselves. Now, what's funny, of course, is that you're not seeing the opposite happen. You're not seeing Democrats for Trump out there and a bunch of former high profile Democrats coming out and saying, I'm supporting Donald Trump. No, the few, so-called Democrats who are supporting Donald Trump have been MAGA conservatives all along, and it's pretty obvious when you look back at their histories, right? What I'm saying is that Harris is pulling people from the other side of the aisle. Donald Trump is not doing that at all. So if you thought the polls were bad for Donald Trump, now just wait until this Republicans for Harris Group really gets off the ground. And we'll start to see pretty quickly how unpopular Donald Trump truly is, even within his own party.
