Well, folks, it's debate Night in America tonight. And, uh, if you're like me, little worried, right? I mean, went into the last presidential debate full of optimism saying, Hey, the only thing that can really hurt Biden is if he just craps out in the debate. And I didn't think it was gonna happen. And well, we all know the rest of that story. So I'm not going into tonight, tonight, uh, super optimistic, but apparently neither are Donald Trump's advisors because they are worried that their candidate is going to crap the bed by showing up as quote, angry Trump. According to reports early this week, Trump's advisors are not sure which Donald Trump is gonna show up. It could be happy Trump or it could be angry Trump. And they do believe that if angry Trump shows up therein for a horrible evening. Now, here is what the Guardian had to say about it.

Their concern is getting angry Trump. If Trump becomes frustrated on the stage, it could bring out his worst instincts to make ad hominem insults. In the vein of recent attacks on Harris that have turned increasingly personal and extreme to the extent that it has exasperated some of his own supporters, Trump has struggled historically with black women in positions of power, and the campaign is bracing for him not to repeat recent comments that question Harris's race or openly misogynistic comments. And more broadly, if he launches into lengthy and rambling diatribes that have become a feature of his rallies, which of course Donald Trump likes to call the weave and weaving all the stories together, it's gonna be totally great. Nobody weaves like I do. Um, no, it's just nonsensical rambling. That of course turns off a lot of voters. And this is going to be the first time that most Americans have really seen Kamala Harris on stage in years.

Okay? Yes, she had a big, you know, 28 million plus viewers for her DNC speech. But those were prepared remarks from a teleprompter. And most people don't remember Harris's performance from the 2020 vice presidential debates because those memories are filled with images of Mike Pence and the fly on his head. And that is what most people happen to remember from that debate. And I say that as one of those people, um. So a lot of people, this is gonna be their first real time seeing Harris as the democratic nominee, as a potential future president. So there's a lot on the line for both candidates. So let's talk about that for a few moments here. 'cause again, this is a huge evening. This could be the moment that makes or breaks the campaign for either candidate. But I think in my opinion here, that

Donald Trump has more on the line in his first debate with President Biden, believe it or not, and I, I give him a little bit of credit for this. Donald Trump was very subdued. He was not angry, he was not belligerent, he was not truthful, of course, but he never is. But he wasn't bombastic, right? He wasn't out there just throwing a bunch of punches against Biden. He pretty much, once the debate started, realized how Biden was that evening and said, okay, I'm gonna let this guy tank his own campaign. And that happened. That's not gonna happen with Harris, okay? Nobody out there is worried about Kamala Harris's mental health. We are not worried about her just stopping in the middle of a sentence or rambling incoherently. We, we don't think that's gonna happen. I mean, anything's possible at this point, and we are a little gun shy from the last time, but I don't think it's gonna happen.
