Shares of Donald Trump’s “Trump Media & Technology Group” plunged to their lowest levels on Wednesday morning following his disastrous debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. The stock lost 15% of its value on Wednesday morning, which means that Trump lost millions of dollars. This is what happens when a business is tied to a politician – it will rise and fall with that politician, and Trump is certainly in a freefall right now. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

If you thought Donald Trump's debate performance on Tuesday evening was rough, then you should have been paying attention to the stock market on Wednesday morning. 'cause things got even worse for Donald Trump when the market opened. The Trump Media and Technology Group, which of course owns truth social, saw their stock plunge by more than 15% right after the opening bell based on how bad Donald Trump did during that debate. And with the stock price now hovering around maybe $15 a share on a good day, this means that Donald Trump's poor debate performance Tuesday evening, not only may have cost him the election, but it definitely cost him millions of dollars in value. Truth, social is now doing so bad in the stock market. The Donald Trump has been bumped off the Fords five, uh, Forbes, excuse me, 500 wealthiest Americans list. That's how pathetic this little company is, that Donald Trump is running.
And again, his debate performance cost him millions of dollars. And here's the reason this is happening. Truth, social, Trump media technology, whatever you want to call it, the only thing that actually exists within it is truth social. So that's why I call it truth social. But, um, it's tied to Donald Trump's success, not as a businessman, but as a politician. So as Donald Trump's chances of winning the White House continue to decrease, so too does the value of true social. I mean, it did go back up earlier this year, right? It had been going down, you know, things weren't looking good. Hey, look, we got a big rebound. But then once Harris, uh, became the Democratic nominee, everything went to hell. And it has continued to go to hell. And each and every week I'm sitting here doing segments telling you, wow, this is the worst week ever.
Then the next week is the worst week ever, and so on and so forth. It's been that way now for three weeks because the stock keeps getting worse again, because it's tied to Donald Trump as a politician. This is why you don't do this with businesses, folks. A business tied to a politician, even tied to an issue, is going to rise and fall the same way. The popularity of that person or that issue rises and falls. It is not a sustainable business model. Now, to mention the fact that this company has never turned a profit compared to their, uh, expenses last quarter, they only brought in about $800,000 while spending millions and millions of dollars. They have no revenue model. Users are abandoning it according to reports, and now investors are abandoning it because they see that Donald Trump is really having
No path to get back into the White House. The whole thing is absolutely hilarious. And I will just offer this one piece of advice. It's coming from me who is not a financial advisor, not a financial expert by any stretch of the imagination. But I will tell you from what I see here, if you're still holding onto this stock, it's time to dump it. Yeah, you may lose money, but if you're holding onto it, hoping it's gonna get better, it ain't, you know, all signs point to know. Look at the high profile investors that are dumping it today. You should probably follow suit again. You may lose money, but not as much as you'd lose if you keep holding on to this worthless company.
