Donald Trump is still struggling tremendously with women voters, and he’s tried desperately this past week to get them to like him to no avail. So he sent his surrogate, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, to CNN this week to do some damage control, but Sanders appeared to only make things worse by being completely unable to answer a simple question about why women don’t like Trump. During an appearance on Fox News this week, Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked a very simple question about why is Donald Trump doing so bad with women voters? I mean, he did bad in 2016. The question from Fox News host John Roberts, was this NBC poll shows a huge gender gap with Kamala Harris. 21 points ahead, 58% to 37%. And if you take a look at 2016, the gender gap was narrower.

Hillary Clinton was 54% to 39%. I mean, he's good at connecting with people, but why is he so challenged with women voters who make up the majority of the electorate? And a lot of people say, this election will turn on women. Easy question. Here are the facts. Here's the facts from the past. Why is this happening? Now, before I read you Sarah Huckabee Sanders answer, just know that we all know, and John Roberts knows, and Huckabee Sanders knows why this is happening, right? The man who has been accused of, uh, sexual misconduct by dozens of women, why is he not resonating with women? The man who brags about overturning Roe versus Wade? Why is he not resonating with women? The man who was sued twice for defamation and lost twice by Eugene Carroll? Why is he not winning with women? Hmm. I don't know. It's a real head scratcher, isn't it, folks?

But here is what Sarah Huckabee Sanders tried to offer as an explanation. I think moments like we saw in that grocery store at the Chick-fil-A with the little boy are Now, before I continue, I am gonna stop mid-sentence here. Um, I have not seen, uh, the incident with Donald Trump and the little boy at Chick-fil-A but I'm gonna tell you right off the top of my head here, Sarah, that's not a good way to say it. Okay? Um, that, that almost sounds really awful. So please rework that because just like Trump and the little boy at Chick-fil-A, you make it sound like the start of something that we're gonna see on Dateline one day. So please be careful. Um, but anyway, uh, the Chick-fil-A with the little boy are going to be things that help him close that gap. If you're not familiar with what Donald Trump did at the grocery store, he walked up to several people and literally threw money at them, which by the way, is technically illegal. But yes, he threw money

At them. And then God only knows what happened at Chick-fil-A with the little boy. Honestly, I don't even wanna know, like I'm at the point, I just, I don't even wanna know. But she continued with her non-answer. But I also think one of the big things that drives me crazy about the left is they try to single women down to one issue when at the end of the day, we care about whether or not we have a strong and good economy, whether or not our neighborhoods and our streets are safe, whether or not there's chaos around the world. And we have two different people with two very different records. One that has a record of success and has a great story to tell. And then Vice President Harris, who has literally failed on everything that voters find important. And I think ultimately, when people step in and cast their votes in November, that's going to be what pushes Donald Trump over the edge.
