YouTube Description
as posted by the channelHunter Biden has filed a new lawsuit against Fox News for defamation and violating state laws about posting intimate pictures, which the network did when they debuted a “mock trial” documentary series called “The Trial Of Hunter Biden” in 2022. The lawsuit claims that the network used images from Hunter’s laptop that were not permitted under state law, and that the entire miniseries was an attempt to defame him and drag his family name through the mud. He’s got a strong case, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

Hunter Biden has refiled his lawsuit against Fox News after previously withdrawing it so that he could add new defendants to the lawsuit. Specifically, he has added Jason Klarman, who is now Chief Digital and Marketing Officer at Fox News, along with Viet Den, former Chief Legal and policy Officer at the Fox Corporation. And according to the lawsuit, hunter Biden is suing Fox over a fake documentary miniseries that they ran in October of 2022, called the Trial of Hunter Biden, where of course they pretended that Hunter Biden was going on trial for violating the Foreign Agent's Registration Act, which of course he is not being charged with and was not charged with, but they decided, screw it. Let's make up charges against this guy. Show it in our fake documentary on Fox Nation, and also include some of those naked images from his laptop, which by the way, we don't have permission to use, but we're gonna use 'em anyway, right is what Courthouse News is reporting.
In the new 18 page lawsuit, hunter Biden accuses the right wing news network of producing a fictitious mock trial miniseries called the Trial of Hunter Biden to intentionally humiliate, harass, and annoy him while tarnishing his reputation. Far from reporting on a newsworthy event. Fox sought to commercialize Mr. Biden's personality through a form of treatment distinct from the dissemination of news or information says the lawsuit, the miniseries is fictionalized. It is not a news event. Hunter Biden ads in the suit. It was made for the purpose of trade and advertising and merely exploits Mr. Biden's name, image, and likeness for Fox News's commercial benefit. The lawsuit also claims the series broke New York's anti revenge porn laws by featuring intimate still images and video of the president's son and the nude and engaging in sexual acts. Now, it's that part of it that intrigues me the most because we do in the state of New York, not we, I'm not there, but they do have anti revenge porn laws, which means it is a criminal offense for you to publish naked images of another person without their consent. Okay? That's not necessarily something you have to file a lawsuit over to get criminal charges for. It's against state law. The state is supposed to bring charges against you. So why is Hunter Biden having to sue them for this? But the state of New York's not bringing any criminal charges against them. That's what blows my mind. Where are the criminal charges?
I don't care if you love Hunter Biden or if you hate Hunter Biden. The man did get convicted, uh, back in the summer of lying about drug use to obtain a firearm. So, you know, he's, he's got his legal problems and I'm not defending that at all. What I am defending is the fact that this man's laptop was taken, right? Sure. He left it at that repair shop, but never came to pick it up. And then what happened with that chain of command? How did those naked pictures from that laptop end up in the hands of Tucker Carlson, Rudy Giuliani, Matt Gaetz, Fox News, Marjorie Taylor Greene, who showed them in Congress, and none of those people got in trouble for this. Granted, the laws vary state by state, but in New York where Fox's base, they aired these pictures, that's illegal. Hunter Biden shouldn't having to be su uh, suing them.
