FBI Targets Corrupt Texas Courts

Attorney General Merrick Garland recently held a press conference to boast about a massive fine that the DOJs leveled against one of the largest banks in the country. The bank pleaded guilty to laundering money for drug cartels in a scheme that lasted for an entire decade. I've got Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins with me to talk about it. Well, first of all, I look at this story, I said, well, God bless Merrick Garland. He actually did something. But when I when I really looked into what he did, it's the same old thing. They caught these people washing money for drug cartels that, of course, are involved in human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorism. These are the cases we're handling in this law firm. So I know a lot about this and it's just like the HSBC case where Eric Holder fined the bank $1.6 billion and nobody went to prison. Nobody. We know exactly, we know everybody in the bank who participated in this money laundering that resulted in the expansion of drug cartels, expansion of human trafficking, expansion of terrorism all over the world.

Deaths.

Deaths, yes.

People are dead because of what takes place with the, bringing in the fentanyl, that's one of the things these drug cartels were doing with this money. We're gonna bring in fentanyl into this country that, of course, is just killing people at an alarming rate. But Garland, I actually caught the press conference on Twitter when it happened.

TD, name of it is TD Bank.

TD Bank, it's the 10th largest bank in the country, but it's based out of Canada. So I watched this press conference and you would think that Merrick Garland just did a combination of re-killing Osama Bin Laden and winning the Powerball because he was just like, this was the greatest day of his life. Look at this. I got the bad guys and they're going to pay me money. And that's it. That's all that's gonna happen.

They're going to pay me money and the criminals that did all this, because they're dressed up in suits, they dressed up in Armani suits, none of them are going to go to prison. If anybody else did this, they would be in prison for the rest of their lives. Merrick Garland, watch, will prosecute nobody that is a white collar criminal. Did everybody know about it? The bank employees used to joke about it. That's how long this was going on. Bank employees made fun of it, yeah, we're involved in a crime syndicate. Right?

Right. And you have plenty of the lower level bank employees, not the people at the top, but these lower level employees that were getting kickbacks from the cartels that was essentially bribe money. So Garland says, well, maybe some of the lower people, maybe some of them we'll prosecute. I think they identified maybe three or four.

Four or five of 'em. Yeah.

Just a handful. But definitely not the guys at the top. These are just the, I guess, what the bank tellers, some of these folks that are going to go down for this, when it was all the way at the top. It always flows from the top.

We simply didn't know what was going on. I apologize. It took place on my watch. This guy will never go to prison because the banking industry gives so much money to the Democrats and the Republicans.
