Elon Musk responded to a post on Twitter this week from actually a right wing account that was basically explaining how Donald Trump would effectively tank the US economy. And in his response to this right wing influencer, Elon Musk agreed, but he's totally fine with it. The post came from Fisher King 64, and this is what Fisher King said. If Trump succeeds in forcing through mass deportations, combined with Elon hacking away at the government, firing people, and reducing the deficit, there will be an initial severe overreaction in the economy. This economy propped up with debt generating asset bubbles and artificially suppressed wages as a result of illegal immigration markets will tumble. But when the storm passes and everyone realizes we are on sound or footing, there will be a rapid recovery to a healthier, sustainable economy. History could be made in the coming two years. Elon Musk says, sounds about right.
So they're telling us, listen, Trump's gonna come in, he's gonna do some things, and the economy is immediately going to crash. A lot of people are gonna suffer. People are gonna lose their jobs, incomes are gonna go down. Stock market's gonna crash, or life savings gonna be wiped out. All that is pretty, pretty bad, right? And Elon Musk like, sounds about right. But totally, in a couple years, it'll all rebound magically somehow. Now, I love how Fisher King actually explains, like in detail why everything would crash, but he doesn't offer a single flipping detail about how it's gonna recover. Right? You know, that's kind of more important than explaining how the crash would occur. You know, it's one thing to be able to explain in detail, like, this is everything that'll cause the crash, and then it'll get better. Well, how, how, because this kind of reminds me a lot of the, uh, talk of the Republican tax cuts.
Like, Hey, you're gonna get raises. Yeah, immediately. Your, your company, your corporations, they're gonna pay lower taxes, but, but the money's eventually gonna trickle down and everybody's gonna do better. It's the same. Oh, everything's gonna be kind of for a while, but don't worry, uh, it's totally just magically gonna get better. Uh, we, we don't know how, we can't give you any specifics on it, but it's definitely gonna get better. And Elon Musk, the more on that he is, is like, yes, this sounds right. This sounds good. I like this. This is coming from a guy who Donald Trump has said he will put in charge of going in there and slashing government programs. JD Vance has suggested that Musk could slash Social security slash other safety net programs that millions of people depend on to survive. And if you think that's a smart idea, then look at Twitter. Elon Musk
Came in, slashed a bunch of things, fired. A bunch of people, got rid of all the waste. And Twitter has been a hellhole ever since. Not just with the people that are on it, but behind the scenes. You've lost revenue, you're hemorrhaging revenue, you're hemorrhaging users. You are actually going through all kinds of like, tech problems on the back end, or at least you were in the early days 'cause you fired everybody. So that's what he would do to the government. And he thinks it's okay. Republicans think it's okay, because they're not gonna be the ones suffering you will be for several years. But don't worry, because one thing we know is that Republicans never lie to us about their economic plans. So after about two years, your life will magically become better. But don't ask 'em specifically how, because they have no fricking clue.
