Trump Freaks Out As Republicans Let Biden’s Judicial Appointments Get Approved

One of the hallmarks of a lame duck presidency is to fill as many judicial vacancies as possible. This is common with both Republicans and Democrats, and President Joe Biden isn’t wasting any time before he leaves office. And in spite of a stern warning from Trump last week, Republicans are letting Biden’s nomination sail through. Donald Trump right now is as always furious at everything. But the main thing that is him off right at this very moment is the fact that Republicans in the Senate aren't showing up for work, which of course means that they can't do the one thing he ordered them to do, which is to prevent President Biden from getting his judicial nominations confirmed. You just squeeze through as many judicial nominees as you can to try to pack the courts before you leave. Democrats do it. Republicans do it, everybody does it.

It's kind of, you know, a, a tradition at this point. But with such a closely divided Senate, it is hard for the Democrats to get these confirmations confirmed. But thanks to the fact that Republicans aren't showing up to work, Democrats have actually been able to get many of them approved and put on the federal bench for the rest of their lives. And what's funny is that one of the people who is also not showing up to vote on these people allowing Democrats to move forward, is none other than Vice President JD Vance or incoming vice president JD Vance, who is still a senator, still has a job to do, but he's just not doing it. Other Republicans who are also not showing up to vote giving Democrats an advantage, include people like Ted Cruz who skipped a vote on a judicial nominee this week to go join Donald Trump down in Texas to watch Elon Ro uh, Musk's rocket, not take off and.

Then you also have Secretary of State nominee, Marco Rubio, who again, still a senator, still has a job to do. He's just not showing up to do it. Other republicans who are not showing up to work this week include Mike Braun of Indiana, Kevin Kramer of North Dakota, and Bill Haggerty of Tennessee. So Trump gave him one job to do, right? Do not let these people get confirmed and instead they're like, dude, I don't want to go to work, can I, can I just not? I'm gonna stay home today. I'm not feeling well like a kid trying to avoid going to school 'cause they know they got a test that day. So Trump, in response to this, in response to the Republicans not showing up to work and doing the one thing he told 'em to do, gets on truth Social on Tuesday, it says this, the Democrats are trying to stack the courts with radical left judges on their way out the door. Republican senators need to show up and hold the line. No more judges confirmed before

Inauguration day. So he's basically saying, get to work guys. Stop skipping out and trying to have fun. And this literally came on the day that Ted Cruz skipped a vote to join Donald Trump to go watch Elon Musk. So maybe you should have looked at the dude next to you'd been like, why aren't you at work? Like, don't you have things to do? Maybe talk to your Secretary of State nominee in person and say, um, Hey man, uh, I'm gonna withdraw your nomination if you don't go to work. You actually do have a little bit of authority over some of these people, but you would rather just post it on truth social because you can't handle face-to-face confrontations, which of course means they're not gonna listen and Biden's gonna keep packing the judiciary.
