As Donald Trump's potential cabinet nominees continue to go down in flames, Republicans have decided that it's their job to attack one another for the horrible people that Donald Trump is putting forward. So obviously we know what happened to Matt Gaetz. We, uh, see what's happening with Pete Hegseth and Kosh Patel, uh, a lot of the other nominees, Tulsi Gabbard right now. There's a lot of horrible information coming out about her. So a lot of these people facing a lot of trouble getting confirmed to the positions Donald Trump wants to appoint them to. And yes, he has not officially done it. So these are all prospective nominees, regardless of what Trump has said until they're officially submitted to the Senate. They're not the official nominees just yet. But anyway, technicalities aside, Republicans are at each other's throats. You have some Senate Republicans saying, we've gotta confirm all these people no matter what.

While others are saying hold up. Um, may maybe, maybe we ought to think about it a little bit because these are some pretty serious allegations against some of these people because of that Republican talking head. Dan Bonino got on his podcast this week to absolutely let Republican senators Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins have it because they've got some reservations about these people. Trump is putting forward, here's what Bonino had to say. Murkowski is the biggest scrub in the Senate. An absolute laugh, loser with not a shred of human dignity. She is the only politician in the country where seriously, there's a part of me that says, you know what? I'd almost rather lose that seat to a Democrat if chairmanships weren't involved. That way. We could get rid of the Democrat in six years because we're stuck with this loser for life. She's never going to go away.

She has no set of ethics at all. And then about Collins, he said, don't even worry about Collins. You're not going to get any better. I'm really sorry, all because these two women, and yes, it's not lost on me that he's only going after the women. When you have other Republican senators, men, including Lindsey Graham, who have also expressed their concerns about some of these nominees, Bonino doesn't want to go after the dudes. So he focuses all of his energy on the women. And I think that tells us a lot about Dan Bonino. But nevertheless, this is what's happening. Republican on Republican violence, these people can't get along. Republican representative Chip Roy issued a warning this week to Republicans to get in line, or there will be quote fireworks. You guys won. Okay, you, you kept the house, you won back the Senate, you won back the White House.

You've got the judiciary, and yet your party is still so full of dysfunction that you guys can't even get together and agree on which horrible people you want serving in the government. That's insane. I mean, the Republican Party has been in complete disarray for at least the last two years. I would argue obviously way longer than that. But we've seen the disarray in the house, right? The fights over Kevin McCarthy, then the fight for the next speaker, then the attacks on current speaker Mike Johnson. It's been insanity for two straight years from Republicans. And you would think that winning a clean sweep in early November would've kind of put all that aside. Like, Hey, even though we're in such disarray, the public still said yes, let's do it again. So maybe we get along. Nope, this is it. This is what they do. Even when they get this, you know, electoral victory, they still can't get along on anything. They can't agree on anything, which of course, means that they can't govern the next two years are going to be hell. But there's a bright side, right?
