Donald Trump went on an insane tirade against members of his own Party this week, threatening to primary anyone that votes in favor of the Continuing Resolution to keep the government running. Trump and his buddy Elon Musk have come out strongly against the bipartisan spending deal that Congress finalized this week, and they don’t want it to pass for some reason. The whole thing is ridiculous, and it foreshadows the amount of incompetence we will see when Trump actually gets in office. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk teamed up to kill the bipartisan continuing resolution to, of course keep the government funded. Through early next year, Republicans and Democrats had come together. They worked out a plan, they were getting ready to vote on it, and Elon Musk tweeted more than 70 times about how bad it was. And then of course, Donald Trump came out after Elon Musk had already killed it, which of course has now sparked Democrats to call him. President Musk and Vice President Trump. Trump decided to flex his muscles as he was being mocked, and he came out on truth social with multiple insane posts saying this, if Republicans try to pass a clean continuing resolution without all of the Democrat bells and whistles, that will be so destructive to our country. All it will do after January 20th, 20th is bring the mess of the debt limit into the Trump administration rather than allowing it to take place in the Biden administration. Any Republican that would be so stupid as to do this should and will be primaried. Everything should be done and fully negotiated prior to my taking office in January 20th, 2025.

So that's a lot of contradictory statements, right? Like if you do it without the Democrat bells and whistles, that's stupid. But can anyone imagine passing it without either terminating or extending the debt ceiling guillotine coming up in June unless the Democrats terminate or substantially extend debt ceiling. Now, I will fight to the end. This is a nasty trap set in place by the radical left Democrats. They are looking to embarrass us in June when it comes up for a vote. The people that extended it from September 28th to June 1st should be ashamed of themselves. It was a political malpractice.
