As part of the ongoing MAGA civil war, racist attacks have been flying against some of Trump’s allies. In response, Elon Musk has called for the purging of all the “unrepentant racists” in the Republican Party, which sounds like a good idea until you realize what that would do to both the MAGA base and the Republican Party as a whole. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

Elon Musk has a new plan that, uh, may possibly end the MAGA Civil War that's been going on for about a week now. But unfortunately, Elon Musk's plan, he doesn't realize this would absolutely decimate Donald Trump's very own MAGA base, because Elon Musk wants to get rid of the unrepentant racists within the Republican Party. Here's a little backstory on how Elon Musk got to this point, which by the way, I agree that that's probably a smart decision, right? Nobody wants racists in their party unless they themselves are a racist. But here's what started this. As part of the ongoing maga Civil War over the H one B Visa program, you have had a lot of, uh, Trump's allies come out and attack Vik Ramus Swami for not being white. As this kind of raged it, it inspired Nandan, who of course is President Biden's, director of US Domestic Policy. Uh, so Nandan came out and said this on social media, I am an Indian American who was born here, and it's crystal clear that the Democratic Party sees me as American, and a large part of the base of the Republican Party does not. I hope Indian Americans remember this moment at the next election. They don't see you as one of them and never will. You thought they just hated other immigrants. But it turns out there's no exception for you, as many of us have been telling you.

So after that, you had Scott Adams, the Dilbert guy, he came out and said that Republicans are taking a page from Democrats on how to lose elections while feeling good about themselves, to which Elon Musk then responded, yes, and those contemptible fools must be removed from the Republican party root and stem. So then everybody started wondering, well, what is he to who are the contemptible fools? You know? 'cause they, they couldn't figure out who the fools were, which kind of tells you who the fools are. But Elon Musk not wanting to leave any gray area, then clarified his remarks about who the contemptible fools were. He said, uh, when he said, contemptible fools, I'm referring to those in the Republican party who are hateful, unrepentant, racists. They will absolutely be the downfall of the Republican party if they're not removed. Again, I agree with you like a hundred percent, no political party should welcome in the racists. But do you notice what I said compared to what Elon Musk said? I said that no political party should welcome the racists. Right? Elon Musk, on the other hand, put not one, but two qualifiers in front of his

Racist word. He said the hateful unrepentant racist should be removed from the Republican party. He didn't say the racists should be moved from the Republican party. Language matters, okay? You didn't have to put any qualifiers in there. You could have just said the racists. But by putting the qualifiers in there, it indicates linguistically that there are some racists that are okay, right? Because you said the hateful unrepentant racists should be gone. So are you telling me that the racist who aren't openly hateful can stay? Because that kinda seems like what you're saying. Like if you're just a closet racist, somebody who's racist, but you're ashamed of being racist, you are still welcome. It may not be what he said, but that is what that series of words means. He only wants to get rid of the openly racist people. If you're just a closet racist in the Republican party, you can stay. That's where we're at. He is just telling people like, listen, if you're gonna be openly racist, you gotta get the hell outta here. But you wanna keep it to yourself, you know, just go scream it into your pillow. Then, uh, that's okay.
