YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOver the past few days, Elon Musk – a man that was neither elected to serve in the government nor confirmed by a governing body – has made sweeping changes to the federal government, consolidating it under his control. He has locked civil servants out of their computer systems at some departments; the NTSB has announced that they will only be using Musk’s platform to make official announcements; And he has gained access to personal information, including pay, from the Treasury. This is unprecedented and dangerous, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

Elon Musk, the unelected non-government approved leader of the Department of Government Efficiency. And when I say non-government, uh, approved, I mean, he didn't go through a Senate confirmation. Nobody voted for this guy. This is just a random person who happens to be the richest man on the planet that Donald Trump picked to run an organization that technically doesn't actually legally exist. And in the last few days alone, Elon Musk appears to, has, have, have basically seized control of the entire federal government. There's three different stories that have all popped up within the last three days of Elon Musk doing things that a lot of legal experts are telling us are hugely illegal. The first, of course, was reported on Friday when Elon Musk had his aids, which for some reason he has people working for him in a government agency that doesn't actually exist. Lock career civil servants out of the Office of Personnel Management, out of their computer systems, lock them out.
So the Office of Personnel Management, which does exactly what their name suggests, basically the human resources department of the federal government, they were all locked outta their computers. Now here's the thing, given the fact that Elon Musk is very dumb, I mean, you can call him a genius all you want, he's not, he doesn't know things. He really doesn't, he doesn't build the cars, he doesn't build the rockets. Those companies already existed before he purchased them. He didn't even start 'em. We saw what happened when he bought Twitter, right? There were outages. There were crashes, there were all kinds of glitches. So I guess what I'm saying is, I don't even know if this was an intentional lockout of the computer system or just another example of Elon Musk's gross computer incompetence that caused everybody to be locked out. But whatever it was, this was on Elon Musk and again, overstepping authority that he doesn't even technically have.
And that was just the first story. The second one, of course, is the fact that, uh, the National Transportation Safety Board, the NTSB following the deadly plane crash that we had, not in DC but in Philadelphia, the NTSB made an announcement that from this point forward, all of their announcements on airline safety crashes, whatever it is, 'cause I guess they're expecting more crashes, will only be delivered through their official Twitter or X account. They said they're not gonna send out emails, they're not gonna be posting on other forums. If you wanna get the news of what's happening with the government, whether or not your
Airplane is even safe to get on these days, you have to be on Twitter, which of course is owned by Elon Musk. So that is exactly why they made that announcement. Now, that, of course, is one that is a, uh, definitely gonna be sued for, and it's gonna be an easy victory for whoever files that lawsuit. This is an official government agency. You cannot use a single private platform to make your announcements. This again, is overstepping the bounds, and it is likely illegal
