YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDuring an interview on Fox News this past weekend, Vice President JD Vance essentially admitted that Donald Trump is going to behave like a dictator, no matter what. Vance was asked specifically about Trump’s obsession with acquiring Greenland, and Vance responded by saying that Trump is going to do what he wants to do “regardless of what the Europeans scream at him.” That’s not a comforting statement about the administration’s ambition, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.

This past weekend, vice President, JD Vance appeared on Fox News alongside host Maria Bart Romo and Bart Romo. Like a lot of Americans wanted to know, like, Hey, um, why are you so obsessed with Greenland? You know, why is Donald Trump telling us that he wants to take over Greenland? What is going on with that? And what is he prepared to do to seize control of the territory? And in response, JD Vance effectively admitted that Donald Trump is just gonna act like a dictator. And if he sees something that he wants, even though it belongs to another country, a sovereign country, uh, we're just gonna take it and not care about what the country thinks. Which, of course, is probably the most terrifying mentality we can see in a global leader. But here is JD Vance's response. Bart Romo asked, do you expect the US to acquire Greenland? Okay, simple question. JD Vance said, quote. So, here's the thing that I think a lot of folks don't appreciate about Greenland. It's really important to our national security. There are sea lanes there that the Chinese use, that the Russians use that, frankly Denmark, which controls Greenland, is not doing its job and it's not being a good ally.
Now, before I continue, 'cause that's where he ends with like, but there, there's like, there's Russian and Chinese ships. Okay? So we, we do business with Russia, we do business with China. They, they do business with other countries. They're, they're allowed to have ships that transport goods across the countries. You did not identify, and you did not even by the way, suggest that these were like ships full of spies or ships with weapons that were gonna be fired at the United States. You in no way told us that our national security was in any kind of danger. You just said they, but the, the Russians are there and the Chinese are there. You're whining like a child that will they get to use. So do we, like, I don't even get what your point is. This, by the way, is why we need to stop electing stupid people to positions of power. But all this scarem mongering that Vance was trying to do is total bs, right? Again, we have no evidence, nothing to suggest that they're using these shipping lanes near Greenland to harm the United States. But he continues, and this is where he gets to the dictatorial part. So you have to ask yourself, how are we going to solve that problem, solve our own national security? Again, which you never outlined how our security was in any kind of danger, but he said, if that means that we
Need to take more territorial interest in Greenland, that is what President Trump is going to do, because he doesn't care about what the Europeans scream at us. He cares about putting the interest of America's citizens first. It's not that Europe, Denmark, whoever is, is screaming at us. It's not that they're saying bad things about us. Jd, what it is, is this is a territory that, by the way, is self-governing. So it's almost an autonomous country in and of itself. And they've told us, no, we're not gonna become part of the United States. Two, it is controlled by Denmark, one of our allies, as you so correctly pointed out, we don't have a claim to it, bud.
And if you're telling us that Donald Trump is just gonna take it, I mean, that's a Putin move. That's a Hitler move, right? Like, well, we know we're not supposed to, but I want it, so I'm going to take it. I don't care about this country's sovereignty. I want it, it's now mine. That's the country we're living in now, I guess when they say make America great again, they were talking about the expansionism that took place in the early years of this country. Oh, well, this, this territory on North America doesn't belong to us. Well, we're gonna take it, it will take it by force if we have to.
