As we all know, uh, about a week and a half ago, Donald Trump's administration offered a buyout to federal employees. Like, Hey, if you quit now from the Office of Personnel Management, uh, we will go ahead and pay you all the way through September. Right? It's basically a buyout offer for federal employees because the Trump administration wants to get all these people out of there so that they can replace them with loyalists and they can't just go in there and fire everybody. Oh, they're gonna try to, don't get me wrong. They will attempt to, however, the Biden administration actually signed a law that makes it so much harder to fi, uh, fire these people. You know, they actually have to go through a, a huge, long process. There has to be just cause and Trump can't undo that with an executive order. So he will try to fire these people and then there will immediately be massive lawsuits filed against him, and the administration knows it.

So they thought they were super clever. Like, what if we just offer these people this massive buyout, unfortunately, for the Trump administration? See, they think they're smarter than everybody, but the fact is they're actually not smarter than anybody. They're very, very stupid about God. Everything and federal employees understood that. So what happened according to multiple different reports is that even the federal workers that were already considering quitting just because they didn't work, wanna work for Trump, uh, before the buyout offer even happened. They were planning on quitting, but then once he insulted them with the buyout offer, you actually had a lot of people say, oh, screw this. I'm, I'm now not leaving, right? Like, I was about to put in my notice, or I had already put in my notice and I'm rescinding it. I'm gonna stay just 'cause I know what you're going to try to do and I am going to do everything to stop it.

That's part one of the story. So it backfired right there. More people decided to stay than leave only because of that offer. The second part is that multiple different unions were warning everybody that if you try to take this deal, it's a scam. There's literally no legal way he can continue to pay you because the budget hasn't been passed. He's full of it and he knows it. He's lying to you. Now, that was something that by the way, the corporate media should have picked up on immediately. And honestly, I'm a little disappointed in myself, although this is the first time I've talked about the story, that I didn't catch that immediately. The government's only funded through what March. So if these people were to take the deal, the money doesn't exist to pay

Them through March. So then all the Republican controlled Congress would have to do is write in the little caveat that this does not apply to people who took the buyout offer. Unfortunately, there's no money for the buyout offer so you don't get paid. So they would write that into the law, and then these people who took the deal wouldn't get paid. And that's what these unions were trying to warn all these workers about. Like, Hey, it is a scam. He couldn't even pay you if he wanted to. And let's be honest, even if they had the money, Trump's whole MO through his business years was not paying people money. He owed them. I mean, the man was sued more times than you can count by contractors who did work for him, and then he just didn't pay 'em. So it backfired in multiple different ways, which is good because it shows us that this administration is not only grotesquely incompetent to pull off some other evil schemes, but it's kind of a Dunning Kruger effect. They're so incompetent that they think they're smarter than everybody. Luckily, nothing could be further from the truth.
