While talking to members of the press this week about the situation in Gaza, Donald Trump went on an irony-free rant about how much he dislikes “bullies,” and even went as far as to say that bullies are always the weakest people. Even conservatives couldn’t hold back their laughter at this incredibly self-own by Donald Trump, who is one of the biggest bullies that we’ve ever seen in American politics (or even in our personal lives.) Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins joins in the mockery.

During a meeting in the Oval Office this week, Donald Trump accidentally admitted to reporters that he is, in fact a very weak person. Here's what happened. Donald Trump had just met with the King of Jordan, where of course, they were talking about the situation and the Gaza Strip, where Donald Trump wants to relocate all the Palestinians and then build his luxury hotels. And he's of course, angry that Hamas has, you know, not released hostages. He's given 'em till Saturday at noon. And if they don't do that, he says, all hell will break loose and we could end up with American boots on the ground. So get ready for that this weekend. But he also decided to, uh, let us know what he thinks of Hamas, which unfortunately everybody also realized also applies to him. But Trump was not clever enough or smart enough to realize that he was basically talking about himself.

Here is what Trump said that sent the internet, including conservatives. Alight, you know what a bully is, right? A bully is the weakest person, and they're bullies. Hamas' bullies a bully is the weakest person. So sayeth the biggest bully in the United States right now, the man who loves to get on social media and insult the intelligence of every African American, that he doesn't like the man who goes out there and makes fun of the way that people look, he mocked Taylor Swift right after the Super Bowl. So this is a man that mocks every single person that he can, judges them by their appearances, makes fun of their appearances, the way they talk. You know, how, how much they weigh all these horrible things. He is a bully, and we all know it, and conservatives also know it. In fact, his bullying weighs are one of the main reasons his base loves him so much.

So whether you love him or you hate him, you admit the guy's a bully. And here he is telling you a bully is the weakest person, and he's right because he is. So, here are some of the responses from social media that I thought were just wonderful. Uh, you had conservative Larry Sabato who said in the Oval Office, without a hint of irony. Um, another one said, uh, yes, he actually just said this, and that was a former Republican and podcast host, Jack Hopkins. Uh, another one said, so is he calling himself weak a bully or both? And then Republican voter, Mike Bates said, does he ever pause for a moment of self-reflection? Doubtful. And that's the thing. This man has no self-reflection. He has no awareness of the words that he speaks. Again, if, if Biden had been a massive bully, and then Biden said something like this, uh, everybody would be talking about getting him out of office. They'd be talking about, uh, uh, him being senile,

Him having dementia. Like, how can he not know he is talking about himself? And with Trump, this wasn't even a blip on the radar, right? It, it, it, sure it went around social media, but then after that, it's just gone. This man has no self-awareness at all. And yes, for the president of the United States, that could be exceptionally dangerous, but it's starting to really me off that we do have this media double standard. Trump is doing so many things on a near daily basis that if Biden had ever done them, the media would be talking about. Well, he's clearly insane. Well, obviously his brain has mashed potatoes and he needs to be removed from office. Meanwhile, Trump can do things like that three, four times a day. And the media's like, oh, that darn Trump just being all Trumpy there. Oh, look at him, just all crazy and silly. The double standard is going to destroy this country.
