4:04Now PlayingFox News is desperate to spin the stock market crash from Monday in any way they can, so they decided to tell America that this was actually a GOOD thing, with one host going as far as to say that he’s actually glad that this happened. There is no positive from this, and it isn’t just the market “correcting itself” – it was a massive crash caused by statements that Trump made over the weekend about a possible recession. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

So as you can imagine, it's uh, it's not been a pleasant week for conservative media because you know everything is going to hell, especially the economy. So how are conservatives out there trying to spin Donald Trump single-handedly tanking the economy, erasing four years of economic gains in under two months? Well, if you're Fox News, you're telling the American public that, Hey, I know you lost your 401k. I know you lost all your retirement savings and maybe you had a little bit of money to play in the market, but, uh, I know it's all gone, but it's totally a good thing because according to Fox News, uh, you know, the people who left the market, the big sell off, these were, these weren't serious people. You know, these are just people who were a little bullish and we, we don't want them in the market. Fox News tells us, here's what happened in a segment hosted by Fox News host Martha McCallum. They went to conservative investor, Kevin O'Leary, and Mr. O'Leary had this to say, uh, a lot of uncertainty about tariffs, but, uh, the correction, he calls it, not the crash, it's a correction he says is very healthy. And you know, when they come, they're painful. But you actually, the bull case for the indexes remains intact. But I hate to say it, I'm glad this is happening. Today is a panic in the streets. Over a 100 years been a buying opportunity.
I am glad this is happening. $4 trillion in worth for the stock markets wiped out. And Mr. O'Leary says, you know what? I'm glad this is happening. Right? You know, and he got all the, all the little crap investors out and now it's just the real dogs we're bullish. And then Fox Business reporter Taylor Riggs chimed in. She said, I could not agree more with Kevin O'Leary. So he says, I'm glad this is happening. First thing she comes on and says, I could not agree more. This is just great times here on Wall Street. Woo. I think so many people, she continued. It's so easy to panic on days like today. But if you woke up, did anything change today about the fundamental awesome story of Microsoft? No. So this is panic selling. And to Kevin's point, it's healthy, it's good. We came into these markets two straight years where the market went straight up. That's not healthy either, right? So, okay, she's like, two straight years. We had the market going up. That's not good. Who was president in those two straight years? Taylor Riggs. Who? Biden. So now Fox News is literally telling us that when Biden
Was president and the stock market was going up, that's real bad. Okay? You up is not the direction you want to, you wanna see the stock market go. You wanna see it go down. This is good and this is healthy. You can't make this up Like this is, it's crazy world. It's crazy world. I can't formulate a proper thought because even if I were Lampoon Fox, that's the kind of thing I would do. I'd be like, no, up as bad, down as good, right? Like that's something out of the onion, but it's not out of the onion, it's straight off of Fox News because they're so desperate to spin Trump's horrible economy.
