YouTube Description
as posted by the channelFollowing a rant from Trump’s Communications Director Steven Cheung, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr threatened to pull the broadcast licenses of Comcast, which owns MSNBC. The issue, according to Carr, is that MSNBC has been “misrepresenting” the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, which is not true at all. The real reason he wants to yank their license is because Trump hates them for telling the truth about what’s happening in his administration. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this latest leap towards full blown fascism.

White House Communications director and Bridge Troll lookalike Stephen Chung came out this week and attacked media outlets, M-S-N-B-C and CNN, for allegedly being inaccurate in their reports on the wrongfully deported man Ilmar Abrigo Garcia. Now, everybody at this point I am assuming, knows that story, so I don't need to reiterate any of that. But here is what Stephen Chung said on social media, shameful that CNN and M-S-N-B-C refuses to take angel mom Patty Morin, as she recounts the terrible tragedy of how an illegal killed her sweet daughter Rachel. So he is attacking CNN and M-S-N-B-C. Those two networks decided not to air the White House press briefing this week where, uh, um, uh, uh, Patty Morin did join. Caroline Levitt told the story about how in 2023, her daughter was killed by somebody who was in the country illegally. And that is tragic. That is sad. There is no other way to say that. That is a horrible thing that happened.
The Trump administration and Republicans in general love to pick one single incident and just make it seem like this is happening every day to everybody. Okay? It is a tragedy that it happened to that poor woman. It's a tragedy that her mother has to go through that. But this is what they do. They will scour the earth to find one instance of one thing happening, just like they did a few years ago when another undocumented person did commit a murder, which again, was a tragedy, but it's so few and far between that you can't even find a case every year, right? It's 2025. They had to go back to 2023 to find the most recent one. Meanwhile, Americans are gunned down by other Americans every single day you bring in those parents into that press conference. No. So I do not have a problem with M-S-N-B-C and CNN not airing this and instead once again, talking about the plight of, uh, Abrego Garcia. But here's the thing, after Stephen Chung tweeted this out, Brendan Carr, the chairman of the FCC quote, tweeted it. Adding this Comcast outlets spent days misleading the American public, implying that Abrego Garcia was merely a law abiding US citizen, just a regular Maryland man. When the truth comes out, they ignore it. Comcast knows that federal law requires its licensed operations to serve the public interest. News distortion doesn't cut it. Abrego Garcia came to America illegally from El Salvador,
Was validated as a member of the violent MS 13 gang, a transnational criminal organization, and was denied bond by an immigration court for failure to show he would not pose a danger to others. Why does Comcast ignore these facts of obvious public interest? Well, I can go ahead and tell you that Mr. Carr, because they're not true. None of that is true. You literally made all that up. He wasn't even in the country illegally. He was an asylum seeker. He was granted asylum here in the United States. That's legal. He has no criminal record. He has no ties to MS 13. You guys keep saying that. Yet you've never been able to provide any kind of documentation of any of this bull crap that you're trying to sell to the public because you're making it up.
But again, he's threatening their license. He says, Hey, your license says you gotta operate in the public interest. You're not doing that. This is fascism control and subservience of the media is a tenant of fascism. That is what this is. And Car by God is gonna do it. This is no longer hypothetical. This is no longer Donald Trump ranting on social media. This is the chairman of the FCC, the guy that has the power to do it, suggesting he's gonna do it all because they M-S-N-B-C and CNN will not repeat the lies of this administration.
