Um, because that, that doesn't even make sense there. So just keep America safe would be a much smarter way to say that. But that's a totally irrelevant point because the big point is nothing will stop me, including the Supreme Court telling me to stop. He is admitting he is going to continue to act in a lawless manner, which of course is not a surprise even to the American public because 52% of the public in a new poll says that they view Donald Trump as a dangerous dictator. That is a threat to democracy. 52%, 80% of Democrats, 55% of, uh, independents, and then a smaller percentage of Republicans. But a majority of people say Trump is a dangerous dictator. So what does he do? Because the poll came out earlier that day. He goes out and basically says, yeah, guess what? I'm a dangerous dictator. These are powers only given to the president. No, they're not. They absolutely are not. You had to invoke a centuries old law to pretend to give yourself these powers to pretend we had an emergency that caused you to invoke this centuries old act. You don't rightfully have these powers. You are abusing the power. You do have

To use this power you shouldn't have. But he is trying to ramp up his base into thinking that the courts are out to get me. They're the lawless ones. He says he called them lawless as he defies court orders. We all know what he's trying to do. He wants his base. You know, the few rabid people who of course obviously showed up at that rally, even though it wasn't many of them, he wants them to take things into their own hands. He wants these people to go deal with the courts. That is absolutely what they're doing. That's why they hyped up the arrest of that judge last week. They want the base to think that these judges are breaking the law and therefore they need to be taken down. That is what this rhetoric is about. Trump doesn't even have to say, go do something, and these people like those at the rally understand that that is what he means for them to do. That is what is so dangerous about this. The only silver lining, of course, is that fewer and fewer people are willing to buy into that these days.
