Elon Musk has been hit with a class action lawsuit from an unnamed plaintiff who is going by John Doe in the lawsuit for allegedly not getting paid by Elon Musk, his America Pac, and all the other affiliated groups that had told people during the campaign, go to Pennsylvania, start getting people to sign my petition, and I'll give you a hundred dollars for every person you get and I'll pay that person an extra amount of money to refer you to another person. And then what's even funnier is when one of these lawsuits was actually filed earlier this year, I mentioned that this has the potential to rise to the level of being a class action lawsuit. And wouldn't you know it Once again, that is exactly what happened. So yeah, that's kind of fun. But here's the thing. Let me read you this, this from Top class actions. Plaintiff John doe's class action lawsuit claims. Musk America PAC and Group America failed to pay registered voters in Pennsylvania, $47 and later increased to $100 to sign the petition. And for each successful referral of a registered voter who signed it, doe argues he and other class members accepted the defendant's offers by signing the petition and successfully referring other registered voters to sign it. Defendants have since failed to pay plaintiff and class members in full for their signatures and referrals. And this, uh, uh, John Doe says that he is owed at least $20,000.

Now, this was also something that was discussed while this was taking place during the campaign, but I do need to bring this up because this of course, is the argument that Musk's Group has made to not pay these people. They claim that these people were spoofing it the whole time, right? These aren't genuine signatures. These aren't real people. You forged their signatures. You use the little fake GPS app to fool our app to make it seem like you were knocking on doors when in fact you were not. So therefore, we do not have to pay you. And to be honest, since both sides are alleging essentially fraud, you know,

You defrauded me by not paying me. Nope. You defrauded me by not actually doing what you said you did. I don't know who to believe, and I do firmly believe that this should go to a jury trial. Let's have both sides, you know, present their evidence. If the people who did the petitions did actually get these signatures, Elon Musk goes them money to clear as day. If they were basically trying to scam him, then he wins, right? But let's let it play out in court. Let's have that due process that the Trump administration is denying. So many people these days take it to court and then we'll see what happens.
