MAGA Boycotts Walmart After Heiress Funds “No Kings” Ad

Trump supporters are going crazy after Walmart heiress Christy Walton took out a full page ad in The New York Times encouraging people to attend a No Kings Day protest this coming Saturday. MAGA is now threatening to boycott Walmart, even though Walton did NOT invoke her company’s name or Trump’s name in the ad. This coming Saturday across the country, there will be no King's Day protests, uh, against Donald Trump, his executive actions. And of course, that is taking place on the very same day that Donald Trump is holding his big old military birthday parade. And it's not the military's birthday, even though he says it is for the Army. It's his birthday. This is his birthday parade so he can feel like the special birthday boy. And this is what he's doing. And the counter protests will be happening all over the country. So because the counter protests are happening, Walmart, Hess, Christie, Wal Walton took out a full page ad in the New York Times this week where she encouraged people to attend one of these no Kings Day protests. She also encouraged people to, you know, stand up against dictatorship and show up at town halls if your local politician does one. She did not name Donald Trump by name. She did not, of course, invoke the name of Walmart because she doesn't serve on the board. She makes no decisions at all involving Walmart's business in any way. She's just, you know, getting the money. And now because she put this ad out there, MAGA says they're going to boycott Walmart.

Now, I don't even know that MAGA has the ability to boycott Walmart. Like, isn't that kind of y'all's y'all's thing? That's y'all's brand. I mean, are you really gonna be able to pack it all up and start, start going to target? I mean, I hate to sound insulting here, but let's be real. The MAGA folks have always had this love affair with Walmart, and now they're saying, well, we gotta boycott it. All right, well, good luck affording groceries going somewhere else. Guys, for a lot of people, you don't even have other grocery stores. All you have is your neighborhood Walmart market. So if you boycott that, I hope you've stockpiled because you're not gonna be able to eat for a long time. But it began when failed. Arizona Republican candidate multiple times failed Ka Lake, uh, asked her followers if they shopped at Walmart, while also posting a photo of the ad from the New York Times. She was flooded with responses from MAGA follower followers, urging a boycott and trashing the company. Now, listen, Walmart is not a company that by any way, I'm gonna stretch, uh, uh, uh, sit here and defend. They're a bad company. They treat their workers poorly, they pay them garbage, they make them work horrible hours. There have been all sorts of, you know, issues in the past with labor violations and things of that nature. They are not a good company, in my opinion, so I'm not going to defend them at all,

Just because a woman who is vaguely associated with it because she married the owner's son years ago, uh, is says, attend to no Kings Day protest. That's not enough to get me to defend Walmart. What I find hilarious is that by doing this, Christy Walton has of course alienated Walmart's biggest base, and now they're saying we're not gonna shop there. And again, a lot of them don't even have other options in their, in their areas. So this whole thing is just hilarious to me because neither side seems to understand the importance of the other, how much they each depend on one another Walmart for the sales and the MAGA people as the only place they have in their area where they can actually buy food. So this is gonna be pretty funny. We'll see if MAGA actually sticks to it, if Walmart sales go down. But, uh, I'm willing to bet in the fight between Walmart and maga, the MAGA folks are gonna crumble first.
