I've talked a lot in recent weeks about the fact that the Republican Party, Donald Trump, the House, the Senate, they're all doing so poorly that it basically is giving the Democrats next year's midterms on a silver platter. And to be honest, that may be oversimplifying things just a little bit, because yes, the Republican party is historically unpopular, but unfortunately so too is the Democratic party not quite as unpopular as the Republicans, but, uh, you know, barely any difference. The Democrats are also not the public's favorite. So that leads me to another question for this q and a. This comes from Captain Camelot who asks, what's the solution to the midterms? While Trump's popularity wanes, the Democrats aren't improving much. You have to cherry pick the data to make anyone look good.

And I love that because that is the reality. You know, I, I do talk a lot about how the Republicans are handing Democrats the midterms, and sure they likely are. I, they they are. Um, and yeah, we could see a very big blue wave. However, none of that actually solves the problem. It's just the public going back and forth like, well, let's do these people. Oh wait, they suck. Let's do these people. Oh wait, they suck. Let's go back. You, you solve the problem of the midterms, one by primary, these geriatric people who are gonna die in office, you know, in two years, get them out. The DNC either needs to force these people to retire by telling them, we're not gonna fund you. Like we appreciate your service. We mean no disrespect, but go the hell away forever. You know, find a nice cordial way to say that.

But if you don't do that, you're gonna keep losing the public's trust. Because one of the biggest concerns of the American public is the fact that the age, the average age of Congress does not represent the American public. And you've had people in there for almost 40 years who have clearly lost touch with reality. The public hates it. And that, of course, is something the Democrats have to address. Second of all, Democrats, you have to go out there and you have to talk about kitchen table issues. Nothing else. And I mean nothing else. There are a lot of people, probably a lot of, uh, you know, ring of Fire fans that don't want to hear that. But I'm gonna tell you that the Democrats need to talk about economic issues and economic issues alone. Does that mean that those are the only important issues in the country? Absolutely not. But people are looking to make their personal financial situations better. They're worried about affording groceries, gasoline, prescription drugs, all those

Things. That is their number one concern. So that is the thing you should be talking about. You don't need to go out there and say, Trump's a dictator. A majority of the public already thinks that according to the polls that's done, you leave the attacks on Donald Trump to the progressive media. We do a good job of it. Way better than any of y'all could ever do. So let us handle that part. The social issues. We have brilliant activists, and we have the media, you know, some leftist media, not the corporate media to a degree, uh, but we have the media that also handles that and amplifies that. And we have protests and we have people on the ground fighting for these, you know, modern day civil rights. Well, we need the politicians to handle during the campaign, not once they're in office. Uh, once they're in office, they have to handle all of it, but campaign only on the kitchen table issues. Then once you get elected, you work on kitchen table issues, you work on the civil rights issues, you go out there and you provide real solid opposition to Donald Trump. You combine all those things.
