After his latest settlement with Paramount that may have also led to the firing of Stephen Colbert, Trump is boasting that he can do whatever he wants and is now making a list of late night hosts that he wants fired next. Donald Trump has not had really any success since he was sworn back in as president of the United States. His approval rating is 14 points underwater. His approval rating on every single issue, including immigration, is deeply underwater. His bill, one big, beautiful bill, is hugely unpopular. The least popular piece of legislation passed this century. Everything he has done has failed. His tariffs have raised costs for consumers. Inflation is rising, job creation is slowing. The economy had a negative first quarter of the year. Everything under Trump is bad, and everything he has done has been a failure with one exception. There is one area where Donald Trump has had an enormous, unprecedented amount of success, and that is with suing media companies for things they didn't do. In cases the media companies could easily win, but Trump somehow ends up securing massive settlements from them. And recently, of course, it happened with Paramount, the owner of CBS, and of course, 60 Minutes that Trump sued alleging you guys rigged the election by editing the interview, which they didn't, but they said, whatever.

But this week, Donald Trump went out there on social media boasting about it, while also putting other media outlets on notice that he'll do the same thing to you if you don't play by his rules. Here is what Trump put on truth. Social breaking news. We have just achieved a big and important win in our historic lawsuit against 60 minutes. CBS in Paramount, just like a, B, C, and George Slop, Opolis, CBS and its corporate owners knew that they de defrauded the American people and were desperate to settle Paramount. CBS 60 Minutes have today paid $16 million in settlement, and we also anticipate receiving $20 million more from the new owners in advertising PSAs or similar programming for a total of over $36 million. Another in a long line of victories over the fake news media who are holding, who we are holding to account for their widespread fraud and deceit. The failing New York Times, the Washington Post, MSD and CCNN, and all other mainstream media liars are on notice that the days of them being allowed to deceive the American people are over, make America great again.

Yeah, it doesn't take a genius to see here that these media outlets are firing people who are critical, even humorously so of Donald Trump. So Donald Trump is literally directing these media outlets who to fire next. He says Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, I guess Seth Meyers flew under the radar. But Jimmy Kimmel has been one of the more hilarious and constant people mocking Trump for years and years, repeatedly drawing Trump's ire. But Trump is embolden. He is empowered. He filed lawsuits that these media outlets could have easily won. I mean, hell, they could have filed motions to dismiss, and they would've gotten that, but they didn't. They didn't fight. They rolled over, showed their belly, gave Trump all the power, gave him all the money, and now we're screwed. He thinks he controls the media because he does control the media. That's why he's suing Wall Street Journal now.
