This is one of the more ridiculous things that I have seen from Florida, and that says a lot, obviously we're just kind of a nonstop cycle of ridiculousness. But yeah, Florida's Attorney General came out and said, listen, we just got a call from a woman that was in an abusive relationship, turned in her illegal immigrant boyfriend, and we got him. He is gonna be deported. So if you have a ex lover that you want out of this country, let us know and we'll take care. This is sickening at this point. This is a person in a position of power. They're the Attorney General of the state of Florida. They obviously have bigger political ambitions for the future and even if this is said in jest, it is such poor taste that it just shows the complete lack of class and empathy that our politicians down here have.

And DHS on the national level reposted this and added the rhyme from domestic abuser to deported loser. So they added a little rhyme to it to help folks understand, I guess. And this is the same man who was the brainchild of Alligator Alcatraz. This was this attorney general who had been a very prominent advocate on the anti-wokeism behind DeSantis. Interestingly enough, and our viewers may not be aware, the scandal, the Hope DeSantis scandal that has been breaking, he is also deeply involved with that and I have some quotes from some new reporting from the New York Times that there were text messages from this AG telling the groups that received the dark money, to the governor's wife, to urge them to spend the money before the board knew about it. So he's deeply involved with this scandal that's developing in Florida with DeSantis and DeSantis' wife. He has been involved with the DeSantis campaign, the disastrous campaign for President. He is the architect of Alligator Alcatraz. This was his brainchild, and now he's doing little sing-song rhymes on social media to help people get deported.

You know, we focus so much on Trump on the national level, I know I do every day, that all of these scandals taking place in Florida, which these are huge. These are potentially career ending for multiple individuals who, again, all have higher political ambitions. Attorney General may want to be governor, DeSantis obviously wants to be president. This is a major scandal that kind of gets overshadowed because every few minutes there's a new ridiculous thing that Donald Trump has done. But it is something that people need to be paying attention to because we're dealing with somebody that very well could be the next Republican president of the United States involved in this kind of money laundering almost scandal with his wife, with the Attorney General, with other officials in Florida. This has just criminal stink all over it to me, and I don't think we're gonna get a real investigation of any of it, because the person who would be running the investigation is also at the heart of this scandal, as you point out here. So it's a very disappointing situation that we have, and especially given the fact that we're not getting a ton of media coverage on it either.

Well, and certainly, I feel like Florida is a microcosm of what we're seeing on the national level, and we see DHS secretary down here dealing with him wanting to partner on the Alligator Alcatraz stuff. Certainly instead of enforcing crimes in Florida or fighting fraud, he's doing the cause de jour, which is immigration. He was also instrumental in flying, and folks may have forgotten, flying the immigrants from Florida to Martha's Vineyard. That was him too. So he human trafficked a bunch of people and there were investigations into that.
