Trump Officially Launches Investigation Into Jack Smith For Investigating Him

Former Special Prosecutor Jack Smith is now officially under investigation for prosecuting Donald Trump. The administration announced late last week that the Office of Special Counsel had indeed launched the investigation into what they call a “partisan witch hunt,” in spite of the fact that there was plenty of evidence of overt criminal activity. This investigation serves two purposes: First, it is a distraction from the Epstein scandal and second, it is a warning to anyone who has taken on Trump or plans to in the future. The Trump administration has confirmed that Jack Smith, the former special prosecutor, who of course brought the criminal cases against Donald Trump, is now officially also under investigation himself by the Office of Special Counsel. So Donald Trump made good on his threat to go after his political enemies and take down anyone that tried to take him down. And we just become more and more of a Banana Republic by the day. But Jack Smith is officially under investigation. Now, this particular investigation, by the way, one of the dumbest rationales I've ever heard from an investigation, um, actually began because of a Republican senator, Tom Cotton, not that long ago, Tom Cotton said, I think Jack Smith broke the law. He was obviously a hardcore Democrat, which is completely untrue because Jack Smith is a registered independent, and he was doing all this to take down Trump so that he wouldn't win the 2024 election.

I demand an investigation. I said, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton and the Office of Special Counsel being under the, the direction of the Trump White House said, alright, yeah, we'll do it. That that sounds legit, right? You are off about something you made up in your head, something that by the way, you have no evidence to back up and the few facts you provide are demonstrably false. We'll do it anyway because ah, why not? Trump wants to go after his political enemies? We're gonna do it because nothing matters in this Banana Republic of ours anymore. So the Office of Special Counsel granted Tom Cotton's request for an investigation into Jack Smith, but get this, it's not just that they granted it, it's the grounds on which they are launching it. See, Jack Smith is not just being prosecuted because, hey, no, no, judge Cannon said you weren't approved by the Senate, so you can't do this. That's not a part of it. It's not because they have evidence that Jack Smith engaged in any kind of prosecutorial misconduct as they've always claimed. They don't have that either. So that's not a part of it. Instead they say, we're gonna get you for Hatch Act violations.

The Hatch Act, of course, uh, prohibits members of the executive branch from engaging in politics on the job. So the accusations against Jack Smith are that you engaged in politics by trying to quote fast track the prosecutions of Trump, which by the way, didn't even happen. Those things were slow rolled for years. But because you tried to fast track them, which again, he didn't, um, that's engaging in political activity because an election was gonna happen and Trump was a nominee. So you probably violated the Hatch Act. That's what the investigation's about. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, because again,

Jack Smith did not attempt to fast track them. They were not fast tracked, they were slow, walked the entire way. We could have had these prosecutions finished by the year 2022 before Donald Trump even announced officially he was running for president again. He would've been in prison, but nope, that didn't happen. So this entire thing, it's not just a sham. I think everybody who even just saw the headlines knew, oh, okay, well this is obviously a sham. It's like the shammies of shams. You can't get shamier than this, the flimsiest basis for an investigation I've ever seen. But it's a fishing expedition, but it also serves two purposes. The first purpose is everybody look at Jack Smith. Oh, we're gonna prosecute him. Oh my God, we're gonna get him, we're gonna get all these horrible, uh, Obama and Biden people. It's a distraction. Everything coming out of this administration right now is a distraction.
