Trump makes things worse every time he opens his mouth and these people working inside the White House are just throwing up their hands like, what the hell? This is here to stay like herpes. Sometimes it'll go away, but then you're going to have a flare up and have to deal with this again. Epstein is the herpes that Trump tried to avoid during Vietnam. Now he's got it.

White House insiders are now admitting the Epstein story is not going to die, that it will continue on forever, and we're just not going to talk about it.
That's such a brilliant strategy. Honestly, if that had been their strategy from day one, this may have blown over by now. But because Trump loves to talk because he can't keep himself away from reporters and they ask questions and then he gets flustered, he has kept this alive. This past weekend JD Vance helped keep it alive by going on Fox News and saying, well, the list is really just a bunch of Democratic politicians and Democratic billionaires, because there's so many of those walking around. And so that only caused everybody in the country to say, okay, then release it. So Vance goes out there, makes things worse. Trump makes things worse every time he opens his mouth. And these people working inside the White House are just throwing up their hands like, what the hell? We don't know what to do. We don't have any answers. We can't control these lunatics. We're just stuck here in this hellscape because they won't stop talking.
Well, interestingly, I almost think that JD Vance is doing it on purpose because he sees some teetering on the pedestal that we've put dear leader. And it's interesting because he can't stop himself. He's never had any discipline, but normally he has this distortion field around him of reality and his followers so eager to accept it. Dear Leader says it's okay, and then they move on. Some portion has not accepted this and by their own estimates, they can only afford to lose about 5% of that support and the whole little house of cards comes tumbling down. And as we're eyeing midterms in the not too distant future, this story is making waves in town halls. You're seeing shouting matches, people who believed this, who have been told there's a conspiracy and told there's a coverup and we're gonna go and we're gonna fight it, are now being lied to by the people who said that we were gonna do all this. And what is known is that he is in there and it's just interesting that this was the breaking point for so many of them.
Yeah, and I think the 5% number is really interesting because in the early days of this, before they even had the estimates, I had talked about the fact that even if you had half of MAGA off right now, by the time we get to where these people can vote or not vote, you're not gonna have that many by any stretch. They might still be mad at it, but they'll forgive it and move on. But I said you're looking at maybe between one and 5%. So that was also my estimate, the 5%, and to hear them now and it's not just the White House insiders, you also have plenty of political analysts that have said between three and 5% of MAGA just sitting out in 2026 is catastrophic for the Republican party. So even though MAGA is a smaller percentage of the Republican party as a whole, it's still all one entity.
So when you have races that are decided by one percentage point, if the Republicans lose two percentage of your people not showing up, you're done. That seat is now gonna go to a Democrat. So this is a big deal. I'm glad this scandal has lasted this long, 21 years of being in the political media here, you don't see this often. Typically a scandal, even with this guy a week or two tops. Really this cannot keep making headlines every day and I've mentioned that three weeks ago I said, this is probably gonna die off. It's not. We're still getting new information. We're still getting these idiots running their mouths, which is hilarious. And I don't know that it ever goes away. I think the White House insiders are right. This is here to stay and it's gonna be like herpes. Sometimes it'll go away, but then you're gonna have a flare up and, oh my God, we gotta deal with this again.
