Donald Trump’s meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine proved that Trump is the tackiest person in America, but not for the reasons that you might think. In addition to Trump suggesting postponing US elections in violation of the Constitution, but he also showcased the disgusting amount of gold that now adorns the entire Oval Office. The whole thing looked like opulent trash, and makes America look like a cheap swindler. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

Donald Trump met with leaders from Europe yesterday, but before that he met with Ukrainian president Vul Deir Zelensky in the Oval Office. And the best word to describe that entire encounter from the setting to the word spoken by Donald Trump and his accomplices is tacky. That was the tackiest thing I think I have ever seen in my life. Not only did Donald Trump point out to Zelensky that Brian Glenn, Marjorie Taylor Greene's reporter boyfriend, was the one who mocked him for not wearing a suit last time, which was pretty tacky. But Donald Trump also suggested that he would suspend the 2028 presidential elections so that he could just serve as president indefinitely, also, very tacky. You're sitting there with a man. The topic at hand is war. His country was attacked. They are the defenders, not the aggressors. And Donald Trump decided to make jokes, make fun of him, make fun of the US Constitution by suggesting he unlawfully stay in office.

And this of course, came several days after Donald Trump met with Vladimir Putin and literally rolled out a red carpet for him. And Zelensky received none of that treatment. Also, very tacky. If you're gonna do it for everybody, it's not that big of a deal. But when you only do that for a blood thirsty dictator that has been accused of helping you win the 2016 election, yeah, people are gonna start to ask a few questions there. But out of all of that ity, the most tacky thing, the thing that immediately popped out to me the second I started watching the footage, was how tacky the Oval Office has become. Donald Trump has spent the last seven months adorning every available surface in that Oval Office with gold like he's gold member from fricking Austin Powers. Three. It's absolutely hideous. Look at this. Look at this photo of Donald Trump sitting there with Zelensky. Look at all of that gold surrounding him. It is tacky. It is gross. It is overly opulent. And that's probably why gold is one of the few things Donald Trump has said. I will never put a tariff on gold because he loves it so much. But in case you think, well, maybe some of this is left over from the previous administration, here is what that very same spot in the Oval Office looked like just seven months ago, seven months ago. No gold at all. Nowhere to be found. Just two chairs and a fireplace.

Calm, relaxing, plain, because you don't need the room to make a statement if you yourself are powerful enough to make those statements. And that's something I don't think most people quite understand. Donald Trump does this. He has to have the surroundings. He has to have the beautiful people. He likes people who look good on tv. All of this is because of his own insecurities. He knows that he cannot speak to people and immediately command respect. He knows that based on the way he looks, he does not automatically trigger this. Oh my God, this is a wealthy man in other people. So he has to do all of these things and dress up the areas, surround him, whether it's the setting with gold, whether it's the people he surrounds himself with, whatever it is, this is a psychological issue, and that's the way we need to be looking at these things. This golden Oval office, this opulence that Trump loves to surround himself with is all a cover. So nobody notices how weak, empathetic he is as a person. Thanks for watching everybody.
