8:47Now PlayingDeliberate practice is when you practice and practice and practice until you can't get it wrong.
When you do this kind of work, the things you're able to achieve are uncanny. If you'll commit yourself to deep practice, to lean into something bigger than you and do the deliberate practice that goes with it, it will transcend into other aspects of your life.
It will make you a better parent. It will make you a better boss. It will make you a better leader.
I want you to think about your goals for 2018. Find the one that is not attainable yet, one you haven't even touched yet, and sink yourself into the deliberate practice needed to achieve it. Get yourself a coach. Get yourself the books. Start pulling it apart and building that skill.
