Yes, hug your Rabbi. Unless he lives in your building and brings a memorial for an October 7th victim. Then, rather than hug him. Sue him. Because you don’t want Israel too close. Right Dan? On x? Yes. For a massive speaking fee to a pro-Israel group? Yup. But on your doorstep? Never. You don’t want Chabad and those religious people too close. They look funny and weird. And Israel, well, you don’t want to invite the Free Palestine folks to outside your building. You want to profit on Israel, but never pay a personal price. So you Cause pain and grief to the family of Shani Louk to make sure they never step foot in your building. This is called NIMby. I love Israel. But “NEVER IN MY BACKYARD.”
