as posted by the channelWelcome back to Behind the Scenes at The Tank Museum!
Research Co-ordinator James Donaldson looks at one of the more recent additions to our collection - the PTRS-41 anti-tank rifle, used by the Soviet Union during WWII. The PTRS was used extensively on the Eastern front and notably at 'Pavlov's House' during the defence of Stalingrad.
The Museum's Tiger II also sees a move out of the Vehicle Conservation Centre, where it's been since returning from a European Museum tour over previous years. Tiger II is taken into the workshop to check for any damage and build an up-to-date assessment of its current condition.
