He goes on to describe the "weird dynamic" of being friends with someone who suddenly became President in the 2016 US elections and recounts how Trump would regularly call him.
Mr Morgan also told Aasmah and Stig that thought social media was responsible for the rise of cancel-culture by reinforcing tribalism saying "it's almost taken us back 2,000 years."
