YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe former Prime Minister Tony Blair has told Times Radio that "we should be aiming to get up to 3, 4, 5 million" vaccines a week "very fast" as we have a "choice between severe lockdown or vaccination".
Speaking to Gloria de Piero, he added that "unless there's a step change of a radical nature in the vaccine programme it's very difficult to see how you're going to keep schools open".
Asked about the Brexit deal, he said he would have "backed the leader on this" and voted for the deal.
On recent reports that the Queen was refusing to give him the Order of the Garter, he responded "I've never been a great one for honours anyway" and that "it literally does not occupy a single thought in my mind".
