YouTube Description
as posted by the channelShadow Scotland Secretary Ian Murray has told Times Radio that Angela Rayner has not been sacked as Labour Party chair.
Speaking to Tom Newton Dunn and Isabel Hardman he said Sir Keir Starmer is simply reshuffling his team but admitted the move could have been communicated better:
As I understand the situation, there hasn't been a sacking. He's reshuffling his team....He wanted to move her to a much more prominent role in the shadow cabinet, to use her authentic voice.
I think it would be right to say that communications over the last twenty-four hours have not been top quality and you would expect better. That's another part of the challenge that the leader of the opposition and his team are going to have to deal with.
