Every prime minister's last act in office is to choose a final list of people to elevate to the House of Lords, parliament's second chamber. But Boris Johnson's resignation honours have been causing Rishi Sunak a bit of a headache.

The Times reported earlier this month that among them are four sitting MPs, including Nadine Dorries, and two very young party aides. The PM now has to decide whether to wave them through or block them. On today's episode of the Stories of Our Times podcast, Manveen Rana speaks to Times Red Box reporter Lara Spirit, who first broke the story.
